July 23rd 2016 was busy. No early check in, but wait patiently in the Boathouse with some cocktails and a $5 tip the concierge will bring you the key. If you rent a car and plan on finding parking around the lake, make sure it is small, agile and early for parking spaces. Both restaurants were wonderful and convenient, as... More

We stayed at Tahoe Lakeshore Lodge and Spa and this restaurant was in walking distance. Really enjoyed the seafood and our dessert, wait staff was very friendly and it provides AWESOME views of the sunsets, especially on the patio. Also fun to watch the ducks!

My wife and I drove up to Lake Tahoe for our anniversary. We stayed three nights at the Beachside Resort and Lodge. Located just to the rear of the resort is a very small intimate restaurant on the pier called The Boathouse.During warm summer months, the pier is a hub of activity -offering all sorts of Seadoo, kayak and power... Wanting to go to a lovely lake side restaurant we chose the Boathouse. Reviews on the business seemed generally positive. Upon arrival we were greeted, asked whether inside or outside (chose outside), to which we were told to go choose our own table. All 3 remaining tables outside were dirty from previous customers from which we picked one anyway. The... More

We went to try this on the water eatery. The views offered are spectacular! The drinks were great. The fish and chips were "meh". The fried clams tasted as if they were purchased at Costco. The waiter, Enrique, was very friendly & attentive.

We were only in town for one night and everybody told us not to miss this restaurant. Neither of us were particularly hungry so we went and shared a couple of appetizers. They were nice enough to let us occupy a table out on the patio and watch the sun set. The food was great, the service was awesome but... More

We were in Tahoe on honeymoon and visited this restaurant one night. The views are just unbelievable, beautiful and romantic. The restaurant was busy but we were seated quickly. The server was very nice and polite. We ordered wine which was tasty and fresh, Sauvignon Blanc. The restaurant serves mainly fish. To start we had Caesar salad and clams. Both... More

This restaurant was recommended by a young lady who works at the shops at heavenly village. If you're in the area this restaurant is a must! My friend and I both had the caprice salad and the Mahi Mahi(blackened). We were fortunate enough to get a spectacular view out on the deck. It was amazing to eat our meal as... More

It was late to us, having flown in from the East Coast, so we thought let's just eat here where we are staying. Didn't have big expectations. It was awesome! Best pan seared scallops I've ever had, no joke. The crab and artichoke dip was pretty much all crab meat, which was great. Caprese salad was excellent too, big enough... More

Was there for lunch, not dinner, but sat out on the balcony and enjoyed an excellent lunch with a great view of the lake (since the restaurant is out on a pier). Wife had the fried Calamari and found it light and crisp. I had their traditional burger and it was as expected - like a sports bar burger -... More
