While the baked goods were delightful and delicious, the bagels were dry (and only around 10AM), but the male helper at the counter was rude, unprofessional, at best, and almost made us leave without getting our food!

Sugar Pine is tucked away off Highway 50 near midtown but well worth a stop for fresh pastries, bread, soups and inexpensive sandwiches. Friendly kids seem to run the place, which is fine with me. Obviously a hit with locals and those lucky tourists who stumble upon Sugar Pine. Has tables for sitdown but set up primarily for take out.

I was a bit wary after seeing that there were so many great reviews dating back a bit, and a handful of negative ones (over a few websites) in the recent months. So glad we decided to stop in (5 minute walk from the hotel)! Delicious pastries, awesome bagel, coffee isn't the greatest but is good. A bit hot and... More

Great, family owned bakery. Staff friendly and helpful. Ample parking makes it an easy stop. We chose the cinnamon roll (with icing), cheese danish, and apple turnover. Definitely worth the calories!!

Right across the street from Aston Lakeland, this bakery is hidden a bit off the street but is worth it. They have a variety of items, including pastries (delicious chocolate croissant) and brownies to go as well. They have coffee and other drinks, and friendly servers. Highly rated by locals, too!

I ordered a German Chocolate cake for a birthday celebration and a dozen cupcakes for a wedding celebration - same day. The cake was excellent. The cupcakes were fine, but I was a bit disappointed in the decorations. Expected a bit more style. Only had a light coating of frosting and a disc of fondant with the bride and groom... More

Products and staff give you the impression that the quality will be excellent, but unfortunately, it is merely average - both products and service.

After a terrible half eaten breakfast at Heidi's Pancakes, we decided to pop in here to get nibbles for the journey ahead. They has a good selection of savoury and sweet pastries/cakes. We had blueberry muffin, cranberry & orange juice muffin, cheese and chilli forcaccia. They all tasted yummy and kept us going until dinner. Please do stop here for... More

this place has limited seating and has bread (large loafs) to sell. Sour dough bread I would recommend.
