The atmosphere wins hands down. The LONG queue is worth the wait. the shopping at the harbour is lovely (take cash) and the west coast wine was lso nice at Kalky's. The food was delicious and fresh. The pickled octopus was great!
Again, been coming here for years, but just had a bad day. I had the snoek, everyone else had the hake. But other members of my family have had the odd bad meal here too. will continue to go, but will be more cautious.
Probably the tastiest fish I have ever eaten. Fish is straight from the fishing boats in the harbour where Kalky's is situated. Seals also hang out in the harbour and the views as you sit outside eating are great - definitely worth taking some time...More
