We loved our meal at Olympia Cafe. The flavours were just amazing, from the bread and olive oil, to the garlic mussels and seafood linguine. I could not believe how reasonable the bill was - I thought they had left something off, but that was not the case. Highly recommended.

Quaint setting, great food, and a bakery too! Great for breakfast or dinner. Small setting let's you watch the chef, which is fascinating.

My wife and I stopped by many mornings to pick up delicious croissants. All different varieties are worth trying. We also had a sit down breakfast one morning. Very reasonable prices for good food. Would definitely go back here!

Favourite under locals but I like to stop in this Kalkbaai place as well. Great coffee, fine breakfasts. Very chilled atmosphere.

This is a great place. We had three dinners for four (incl. two teenage boys) and were never disappointed. The food is excellent, the menu varies each day, staff is friendly and helpful, and you can even bring your own wine.... Don't miss it out when you're around!

I rarely if ever bother going to sit inside the café because it's often really full and a bit noisy – but this place has been "a thing" for locals and visitors for years now, and there's a reason for this. We, however, like to swing past their bakery sales round the back. The building is amazing; it used to... More

We have been frequenting this establishment for many, many years. It is a kind of melting pot where one sees interesting people. The staff are full of attitude or whatever that means. Perhaps they are told to be like that. The toilets are dodgy we feel, one has to go through the kitchen to get to them. The food and... More

The menu, the food, the atmosphere... This place is a staple every time I visit Cape Town. I rarely order the same thing twice, but the mussels here are sublime - like billowy pillows. They're huge! So I had to get them again... The portions here are very generous, and the service is so warm. You can tell that staff... More

Magnificent food. Brilliant everything. Doesn't quite look the part on 1st glance but see the long queues at dinner and breakfast... delicious.

The place is vibrant and busy, but we got a table fairly quick even in rush lunch hours. The food was really good and worthy of a visit. Especially nice was the yellowtail.
