This restuarant has an amazing view and the drinks we had were very good. The service however was below reasonable standards.

The quality of this restaurant has decreased significantly. From 0 to 10 I will rate it a 1, and this Is the 4th time I visit this restaurant. On July 18 2020, I went around 6pm and the service was mediocre and not recommended. The...owner or owners were at the location and were distracting and rearranging the tables. All waiters were only attentive to owners and friends. A kid who looked like was part of the owner’s crowd was spraying a glade spray and hand sanitizers to my table and everyone, without warning or correction. This restaurant used to be my favorite, I will never visit this restaurant again and will not recommended either. The quality of service was terrible, the food overpriced and service mediocre. Don’t go there.More

At first I was excited, great View, excellent welcome smile and location. It took ages to get the good as well as the bill and the restaurant was only 50% busy, food presentation perfect but the taste not so much. Flavor was the missing link.....

After getting robbed of our pesos by local police (more than once), it was refreshing to find a safe place to sit down and order a meal. Unfortunately, we speak very little Spanish but thankfully there was a nice man who assisted us with reading...the menu and ordering our drinks. I would suggest Alta Vista for the view and they make great steaks and burgers especially!More

The food is ok, but not worth the premium. The view is nothing. The allure is a fine dining experience which is damaged by the obscene pricing structure and the sub par food. The service is excellent which is why this place does not get...1 star. If you like hype then go but if you want to actually enjoy yourself then look elsewhere.More

My fiancé and I visited Alta Vista while we stayed in Santiago for the first time. Alta Vista a very crowded and we had a wait time of approximately 30 minutes. Once we got seated I enjoyed my appetizer and entree. It is a must...do while you are visiting in Santiago.More

First of all I just want to say that this restaurant has a great view that's it. Our waitress was very rude. She was very disrespectful because my girlfriend sent her streak back because it raw and bleeding. She had to send it back twice....We moved into the inside because the music was very loud so we could talk. We were given another waitress who was very nice, but the first waitress really spoiled our experience here. The manager came and apologized, offered a free dessert and cappuccino. I'm still trying to understand how an employee can treat and talk to a customer so bad and still have a job there. We were in total shock. We drove one hour and 45 minutes to this restaurant from Santo Domingo. I would never do that again. The food was average and I have had better food and service in Santo Domingo. Spending $90 at a restaurant in the Dominican Republic you would expect the food to be decent and respectful service. If you go here hopefully you will get the second waitress that we had. She also apologized for the other waitress conduct. I felt like I paid for the view.More

A friend took me via helicopter and I was blown away, wow what an experience. I had no idea and I was so surprised, it was for my birthday. The views, the staff, the decor, the food all 5-star plus.
