All reviews bhindi curry garlic chilli chicken pickle tray poppadoms lamb shank authentic indian food take away fantastic food best indian last night excellent meal christmas day keep up the good work couldn't do enough be visiting again piping hot
Excellent meal and service. The seating outside at the rear of the restaurant was socially distanced, roof covering and there were patio heaters. Staff friendly and efficient and food tasty and hot. Parking at the front. We will definately come again.
What a find Bindi is, head and shoulders above the usual mediocre high street Indian? restaurants. Great food and service with two new, ramped, outside dining areas as well. We aren't Vegans but nice to see Vegan dishes highlighted on the menu for when our...daughter visits. We love dining at Bindi and can't wait to go back again soon. Highly recommended.More
Visited Bindi last weekend for our first post-lockdown restaurant dinner. The team have managed to pull together a fair number of outside dining tables on both a new area of decking at the front of the restaurant and in the beer garden area at the...rear.
When I booked the table I asked for one at the rear as the ones on the front decking area are more open to the elements, and since it’s only April we were wary that it would soon get cold once the sun set.
We chose wisely, because it did indeed get cold and draughty very quickly at dusk.
The pleasant staff made us feel welcomed, and we were happy to be seated close to a halogen patio heater which was very handy.
Ordered a bottle of house dry white which arrived quickly, complete with cooler and it was very nice too.
Starters were good, butterflied king prawns and lamb tikka, and the mains of Goan fish curry and chicken tikka taws were also very tasty, and good portions.
Plates were nice and hot too, which helped to keep things hot while we ate.
I suggested to the manager that a couple of extra patio heaters would be good as those tables not close to the wall mounted heating would feel very cold in ‘normal’ Spring weather at night.
Food warmers would also be a good idea to keep food hot throughout the meal.
All in all, we really enjoyed our visit and will return soon. Recommended!More
What a great place, staff very friendly and welcoming. New out door dining is perfect! At the front The sun is on you all evening. Food delicious can not fault. Good selection of food for vegans! Can not wait to go back !
The Bindi of Aspull was the first Indian Restaurant we discovered when we moved back home to Bolton 19 months ago after 25 years living in the Midlands.
The majority of this time we have been in one lock down or another and Shielding.
We...have continued to support this Restaurant and another during these times.
Collected orders have always been safely placed at our request in the boot.
With the easing of the restrictions and no longer shielding but advised to be cautious we are eager to dine out again albeit outside but need to feel safe. We certainly did here.
The cold weather this year in the North is finally warming up just in time for outside dining - but evenings are still cool.
We noticed that the Bindi had created an outdoor area and went to look and booked for the two of us this weekend.
The outside space at the front is almost ready just heaters are ordered to install.
The back area seating 20 covers is ready with heating and has a perspex roof in case of rain but sides exposed and open. It’s a nice relaxing space and was full so others like us are clearing wanting to dine out. You can also dine at the front and this is a great space for pre- dinner drinks and will be an asset once inside dining is allowed.
We enjoyed a drink there before going to our table.
There is also a ramp so disabled access. Seating is comfortable with chairs with backs and again a roof.
It was lovely having a meal served to you and soaking up the atmosphere after so many months. Food as always was excellent and service good.
Nice to chat to staff again and a really enjoyable time.
Highly recommend a visit to check it out yourself.
Maybe best to book at a time to suit you.
Well done your hard work was worth it and best wishes and lets hope we are easing out of the last lockdown. 🙏🏼
