A tested , well known & valid saying - Don't expect Cheap & Good ! To me this applies to this No Frill Eatery . A local favouite seafood joint with tables arranged canteen style with row upon row of seafood tanks for customers to pick and select the style of cooking . There were many locals & tourists in this boisterous and fast moving outlet . The food was average and Inexpensive but for a couple spending the last evening in Danang it was not an ideal choice

Very good location, right on My Khe Becah, lots of selections here and price is affordable. The prices are clearly stated as how much per kilo. You will be charge according to the weight of the seafood you selected. No double pricing for foreigner. We will comeback again.

It was quiet and the prices were reasonable. I visited around 2pm so it was late so the restaurant was empty. The ocean was beautiful with a view. I ate crab, mantis shrimp and clams and they were all well seasoned. Many restaurants along the sea are expensive but this restaurant was both reasonably priced and tasty. The staff were also kind. They accept cards too.

The family group went to Da Nang for a trip. The first day I went to Ba Na, I didn't come back until evening to eat and drink, then went to see the Dragon Bridge. The next day the family went to Linh Ung Pagoda in Son Tra, looked for a seafood restaurant to have dinner before returning to the hotel, looked around the review sites and found the best ones. Asking my classmates in Da Nang, they recommended Bien Rang restaurant, so I decided to go to Bien Rang. At first, I was a bit shy because the restaurant is located on Hoang Sa street, a tourist coastal road. The restaurant is very spacious and bright. Polite and not at all hustle and bustle like a local restaurant. When you go to the restaurant and look at the menu, you also feel reassured because the price of each dish is very affordable. Order and observe. The restaurant is spacious, cool, polite space, clean. Young waiters take care of each table. Delicious and cheap food. Rated the location VIP 10, good service to please guests with different tastes. The group will return.

I enjoyed the lobster garlic butter sauce. The menu was written in Korean and the staff provided friendly guidance, so I was able to choose delicious food. I visited around 1:30 PM on a Friday and there were no customers, so I ate comfortably and quietly.

A bit rough spot but excellent and fresh seafood here. Delicious meals at a reasonable price. We tried flower crab, lobster and tiger prawns. Lots of local patrons among the many tourists. Can recommend.

This place is OK for local Vietnamese or expats but not for tourist as the staff speak little or no English , small stool for sitting and dubious kitchen facilities . We did not get sick after eating here however we took precaution as to avoid all raw food such as salad and green vegetables

Seafood along MyKhe Beach

Located along the stretch of MyKhe beach. Lots of selections here and price is affordable. The prices are clearly stated as how much per kilo. You will be charge according to the weight of the seafood you selected. No double pricing for foreigner The only obstacle here is it caters for mainly locals and the staffs do not understand English except for the senior staffs with very limited English. First you get a table and you will be allocated table number ( you will be given a piece of paper with the table no written by the waiter) Then go and select the seafood you want and the staff will weigh and tell you the weight of the selected seafood.. He will then ask you how you want it to be cook. The problem starts here as they do not speak English. They only know STEAM,BBQ,SPICY,and NO SPICY. So we can only tell them its either to steam or BBQ, spicy or no spicy. Fried Rice is available here and like usual, when we ask what choice do we have - only seafood fried rice. Wait at your table and the dish will come quite fast. Drinks can be order from your table. You can choose to sit either on the ground floor or second floor. Seafood is very fresh here

Seafood dinner in Danang, local style

My family of 11 had dinner at Hai San Be Man in Danang. We ordered 7 dishes (mantis prawn, fish, squid, scallop, prawns, fried rice & morning glory) and had some drinks (oolong tea & coconut juice but no alcohol). The bill came up to VND 4.6M, around USD 200. The place is crowded and busy, so it’s hard to talk over all that noise. There is no menu so you basically pick your seafood from the tanks, they weighed it and asked if you want to steam, fry or BBQ. Taste wasn’t great and overall dining experience so-so.

Delicious affordable seafood

Friends recommended this seafood place and luckily got the info to try our luck there - as there are literally hundreds of seafood places in Danang. It’s a basic restaurant where you choose the seafood to weigh and tell them how to cook it. Steam, stir fry, grill etc.. The food came quickly and tasted yummy. Staff spoke little or limited English but you will get by- the serving staff were helpful versus those staff at the seafood tanks. Food was good and will definitely come again if to come to Danang again.
