I would thoroughly recommend this amazing pub/restaurant. Set in the beautiful village of Fletching, we sat in the stunning garden and enjoyed lunch, despite being midweek the place was busy and had a great atmosphere. For a light lunch I had the starter portion of...More

Popular (so can be crowded) pub/restaurant. Good food. Polite staff. Generally best for us on a midweek summer evening when you can sit in the garden, with a nice view, and the children have enough space to run around without annoying anyone.

We visited one evening for a meal. The food and service were good. The ambience and history of the pub are fantastic. It really is a gem in East Sussex.

We love visiting The Griffin and have always found the staff welcoming and friendly and the food well presented and utterly delicious. We have also recommended it to many friends who have been as equally delighted as us.

GF bought me a lovely lunch in this very pretty establishment which I think was mainly built around 500 years ago. Hadn't been before. Apart from the great interior the garden areas are fabulous as well. I started with Gazpacho which was fab (although perhaps...More

A Lovely Olde English Inn. A short two night stay. The ideal location for visiting The Bluebell Railway and Wakehurst Place. Staff were very helpful.
