We booked half an hour in advance. And from the beginning we noticed a special affection in the attention.

As starters we ordered some tomatoes with canned tuna, it was very delicious; and fish carpaccio and it was spectacular, with those limpets and tomatoes cherries.

We were there for the last time in May 2024, 4 tons and it was very good. The fish in the salt still existed. The lady had the sceptre well in her hand and managed the staff very well, super freed the fish from bones and served quickly. Yesterday, however, there was no lady (short hair) and the Lord was visibly overwhelmed, not only with picking up the food, but also with removing the bones. A really atmospheric restaurant in a stunning location. Large windows open directly onto the sea. Fresh fish in many different forms and good selection of wines. Having said that, unfortunately my dining experience fell short of expectations. Despite the promising menu, the tuna was overcooked and the price of the seafood board seemed disproportionate to the quantity of the food served.

I don't often put a review on here but this restaurant didn't care it was poor. Of our 4 mains my wife's fish stew had no fish, my sons steak was ordered medium well it came medium rare, mine was ok but bland, and my little boy was given fish in batter with crisps not chow and they had no ketchup so he ate just the crisps. So we bought my little boy pudding as he hadn't eaten / said about it and they didn't care so just paid and left. I've been there 3 times now over the years that's 2 out of 3 bad experiences so not going again

We were recommended to come by our hotel Gran Melia.
When we arrived we were completely ignored by at least 2-3 waiters for at least 5 mins . Instead of just looking up and acknowledging our arrival .
Eventually one of the waiters took our details of our reservation and took us to our table.
Tuna tartar was not good. We also had the garlic prawns which were meant to be the white prawns. The waitress came back twice to check the order but they still sent the prawns with shells .
We had to ask 3 times for our still water.
The canary potatoes were nice but apart from that the whole experience was not good.
We have been to some amazing restaurants in Tenerife and this was the worst on our last night .
I will make sure the hotel know of our dreadful experience .
When I complained about the tuna tartar as I had left most of it, the manager said , well everyone else compliments it?
If you look at the reviews I normally leave, I really don’t like to leave bad reviews .
But this manager needs extensive training !
Last night we went to the most amazing steak restaurant called 3 Raices . We had to come back as there was no table, but at every stage the waiter let us know how long the wait would be ! Absolutely amazing service and the food was stunning!

We were a family of 4 dining at this restaurant. Very good service and food too. Very nice atmosphere. We ordered several starters: battered prawns, garlic prawns, Old Pier salad and some colored potatoes wrinkled with mojos. Second, grilled sea bass and rice band. I put a 4 for the rice, lack of flavor. Otherwise all very rich, the truth is that I would have eaten only starter base and grilled fish.

If you like seafood don’t miss this place!
Team couldn’t have done to entertain and accommodate our son! All staff member played and smiled with him and the chef even showed him a lobster.
Food was amazing with extremely fresh cooked seafood. For our son they had a great kids menu with healthy and tasty fish fillets.

The setting is fabulous, overlooking the ocean with a real high end feel to it. As you walk in you see the days fish on the counter with lobsters available to choose for your meal.
A great selection of wine available at a good price. Assuming you’re going for fish I’d recommend the marmajuelo blanco seco - it’s local and delicious.
The actual food is fantastic. The roasted cheese is something very different - share it, you won’t need all of it yourself.
We went for the seafood platter. Amazing. The red prawns are probably even better than the lobster.
The only downside was that the food didn’t come out together, so we were all eating separately. Honestly, despite the food being fantastic, this took something away from the experience - shame
I’d still highly recommend this place though, it’s so much better than the Melia restaurants

We came across this restaurant during a walk... the place is nice and the service impeccable.
Too bad the flavors weren't there.

The best food we had while on the island. We tried the lobster carpaccio and grilled snapper and WOW we were blown away. The fish was very fresh and cooked perfectly. They offer to fillet it at your table but we opted to try it ourselves. Our waitress saw us struggling so she came over and showed us how to do it. Very helpful! Overall this restaurant was beautiful, situated on the second level overlooking the port. Our desserts were great, too. We had a chocolate volcano and something described in English as "biscuits", which was a mistranslation as it was cream cheese, jam, and maybe frosting (?) on a plate. Delicious regardless! The waitresses did not speak fluent English but it did not affect our ability to order and interact with them. We will be back!

If you’re prepared to wait for 30 min. for your order to be taken, then go ahead. I tried to wave, tried to catch eyes - nope. My partner wanted to leave but as it was already 20:30 and we didn’t eat from 14:00, I convinced him to stay and not to search for another place.
Staff is friendly & I was told they are only 2 people today. Well, let’s hope it’s just 1 day a year like this.
White wine Moon medium is highly recommended & easily complements meal👏
Fish mix is good but not outstanding/ more average. Peppers/ paprika’s mix was full of flavour, delicious. Yellowish bread was tasty and it’s texture reminded Italian Christmas bread - absolutely loved it.

The food, staff and views were all first class.
I had the octopus, tuna and prawn salad that was superd, my wife had Tuna Tartar with Mango which she loved. For main courses we had Razor clams and Grilled fish with garlic and coriander oil with a side of Canarian black potatoes. Really enjoyed the whole meal and the lady serving us chose a really nice wine. Too full for a pud so can't tell you about those. We went in the evening when the dark loses you the view but at lunch the view over the sea will be stunning.

This was probably the closest we came to fine dining in Alaca - lovely surroundings, relaxed atmosphere, slick but friendly service, and delicious, well-prepared food. It is primarily a fish restaurant but there are other options and the pressed black pork was outstanding. It's not the cheapest place around, but the prices are justified given the standard of the food and service - would definitely recommend. Booking essential.
