Great country pub with gorgeous views over the Clarence River. The setting is idyllic. With a huge garden at the rear for the sunlovers. Food is generous in portions.Super tasty meals. I had the Vegie burger with chips & salad & was full as a boot. Flavours were spectacular & coffee was great also. Been there twice on my motorbike... More

Riding from Brisbane to Coffs Harbour we dropped in to this little Gem. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is well priced and quick. Even in a busy Saturday lunch time. Views of the river sets the scene. Will be coming again.

We had a recent dinner here and were not disappointed. The cafe is at the back of a lovely old pub, off the main highway, so nice and quiet. Good selection of meals and daily specials. We had calamari salad and a salt and pepper prawn and calamari dish, both very good. Drinks are ordered from the main bar of... More

We were keen for a classic steak and schnitzel lunch - 30 bucks for a steak plus $2 for sauce and more for salad and more for chips makes for a very expensive lunch. The setting is great and the service was passable for a pub, but for minimum $35 each without drinks I'd be expecting table service and a... More

Lovely morning tea, good coffee. Minimal customers, still got a buzzer to come back to the counter. Waited 15 minutes for our order. Would have been a nice gesture to bring it to the table after waiting so long... Customer service lacking.

We stayed at the Rooftop on the way back to Sydney from Brisvegas and they recommended the pub food. I had the lamb cutlets, Susie the steak. There was plenty of it at a very reasonable price, and the pub itself is fantastic, highly recommended. Susie's steak was pretty rare, I think they wiped its bum and whacked it on... More

Nice spot on the river bank to have lunch . tables spread out on the lawn. Local bearded water monitors make an appearance which is quite entertaining. Pub type food. Had fish and chips local snapper I was told. Decent burgers. $40 for two meals tea and coffee. Order at counter and given buzzer. Efficient enjoyable lunch in lovely setting.

The food was delicious, but it was overpriced for a pub meal. I highly recommend the salt & pepper squid and the mango smoothie.

I have previously visited this cafe and had a lovely experience however the service I received when I returned was awful! I understand that they were not quiet but staff were abrupt and not overly helpful and you could hear the cooks in the kitchen bit*#ing about the customers. To top this off I ordered a burger takeaway and when... More

Opening Hours Breakfast and Lunch 8.30am - 2.30 pm (7days) Dinner 6.00pm - 8.30pm Tues- Sat Outstanding Coffee This is a delightful cafe/restaurant that provides excellent low priced meals in a setting on the banks of the Clarence River. It is right beside the Pacific Highway and is an excellent break point for those driving the Sydney-Brisbane highway. We have eaten there twice in the past week and were most impressed. We think it should be better known, especially as the service is especially friendly.
