It came recommended by one of the local top wine producers. Was a great meal. 3 dips with a good bread selection. A good amuse-bouche. We tried 3 different starters, avocado tartare, beef carpaccio and duck parcels, all very good. Mains of a seasonal two style pork fish and a zander fish dish. Finally we managed a chocolate tart. Every... More

This restaurant is just great! We sat outside under a large umbrella watching the world (not much going on in this little village) go by! Lovely service - prompt and not intrusive. We were five and some had starters, some just mains - sadly no room for puddings as the portions were enormous! Highly recommend the flat iron steak, the... More

very much enjoyed lunch today at Bittermann's restaurant - very comfortable and cosy setting indeed. professional and responsive staff, nice selection of dishes (not too many, which is good) and very good array of wines from local wineries. only disappointment was the vegetarian main dish my daughter went for: it was overcooked and seemed to be a collection of the... Very good food and wine - it´s just the question who is driving the car and who can drink? Beef tartare is mixed and served right in front of you and all the food we ordered was close to spectacular at a very decent price. This is a pearl in the middle of nowhere in Lower Austria!

The restaurant is located at circa 40 km eastward of Vienna near the national road, B9, to Bratislava. The place is in the Center of a very pitoresque Austrain village. The restaurant is a fancy one with excellent dishes. It is very hard to recommend one as being the best. In completion to the meals the collection of wines is... More

Vacationing in Vienna with 5 family members we went to Gottlesbrun because of it's emerging red wine reputation. Mrs. Netzl from Netzl vineyard referred us to this restaurant. Without a doubt this is one of the finest restaurants in lower Austria. We often eat at Steirerick in Vienna and this restaurant (in a country style) rivals it's big city cousin.... More

We have been coming to this restaurant for almost 10years and never have been disappointed with food. Eating at this place is haute culinary experience, within the motto "Less is more" as for combinations and ingredients. They use high quality products and cook with love. In summer the outside terrace with church view is very pleasant. Although usually very crowded,... More

We stopped by for a lunch on a sunny sunday afternoon. The promising website just cannot say it all. Great terrace, friendly service and an excellent meal. We had starter and main dish (grill dishes are their specialty - do try!) and one of us chose the menu of the day, which comes with a dessert as well - which... More
