We were out driving through the region enjoying the wild lavender and just dropped in to this beautiful village. We ordered the Menu du jour and it was superb!! Madam and her staff were so friendly and helpful and the food was exceptional. Wonderful location and atmosphere. We were even treated to an amazing electric storm mid- lunch whereby we... More

Excellent family lunch on Valentine's Day. Quality and such tasty home cooked food. I had frog legs in persil and garlic sauce which was fantastic, my husband enjoyed deer stewed in red wine sauce and served with fresh pasta. Kids' wood oven pizza was good too and only 8 euros ! The owner was lovely and was one of the... More

One of my favorite restaurants for simple food made well and with love. Patrick and Margeurite are simply the best hosts. Even opening especially for me on my birthday. We love you both!

Went in on a very quiet Wednesday night. This was one of only two places open in the village that night, and I was their only customer! However I was warmly welcomed and treated to a feast of regional cooking - Fois Gras and Lardon salad, followed by Canard Magret. Delicious and generous portions. Creme brûlée and Cafe rounded off... Great café for lunch, either inside or en terrasses. Situated in the main street but with a terrace, and the street is nice and quiet. Good range of food.

I love this restaurant. This is the 2nd time I have been there and every thing that I order is fantastic. The service is attentive, the ambiance is cozy, the greeting is convivial. Have the warm camembert and the wonderful Daube on Tagliatelle. Next time I will have dessert...I am sure it will be delicious.

We had a pair of tasty pizzas here with a few glasses of average red wine. Nice ambiance in the square with particularly excellent service. This town is quite ancient for the area, worth checking out.

I visit the Cheiron for different things. Sometimes for a coffee when out cycling and sometimes a quick beer, but recently I took my family there for my Dad's 80th. Margarite and her staff were lovely friendly and the food was very well cooked and prepared. It is a fun place to eat, not to formal but with quality where... More

The late, great Michael Winner visited Le Cheiron a few years ago so it was inevitable that I would eventually turn up here. We arrived by bicycle, ready for replenishment, although not for a full lunch. Marguerite and Patrick were delightfully welcoming and not at all put out by our request for a simple sandwich, before continuing our ride. We... More
