The cold meat plate was one of the best I have ever tasted. I was really impressed with black pig main course, the sauce was perfection. The local wine complimented the food. The service was great, all the little extras to make you want to come back.

This was our second visit after a two year hiatus. It was, the first time, the best restaurant we had ever eaten in anywhere. Sadly this time it was not. The culatello ham was still amazing and delicious. The best ever. The truffle risotto was over seasoned. The rabbit was dry and tasteless. The signature capon was tough and the... More

Al Cavallino Bianco is an attractively modernised osteria which serves wonderful food, all under the watchful eye of the proprietor, one of two brothers running adjacent establishments close to the Rover Po in "Verdi Lands". The other brother's restaurant is Michelin-starred: this one can not be far off that level. We had a marvellous multi-coursed dinner the highlight of which... More

My late lunch visit coincided with an annual fair organised by the owners of this restaurant, called 100 Mani di Questa Terra, which showcases local hams, cheeses and wines, with the participation of 50 top Italian chefs, quite a few with Michelin stars! The owners are also the producers of the exquisite culatello ham. Al Cavallino Bianco serves amazingly good... More

What a fabulous meal in a beautiful restaurant, It was like going back in time. The service was excellent and the food was faultless. It is a long time since I have had such an enjoyable dining experience. Lucky find and one to remember. Very good value.

Who doesn't crave a special restaurant on the banks of the Po river? The grounds are tranquil and beautiful, full of slender trees that go right to the edge of Italy's largest river. There is a primary reason to come here, even for no other reason than to taste the culatello, the divine ham prepared here on site. Add to... More

Recommended by a renowned chef in Alabama, it was a bit hard to find at night in the dark, but well worth the effort. We drove there from Parma, about a 45 minute drive. It was not in a town, but next to farm. All the food served comes from the farm. White linen, silver and china in the one... More

My wife and I were there for lunch on Wednesday, September 17th on our way from Arezzo to Lake Orta and planned to have lunch, something we had wanted to do many times in the previous 15 years, but never managed to do as the restaurant was somewhat out of our driving plans. d attentive. We shared a cold cuts appetizer... Sunday lunch with family at this restaurant and we had very good food. Must try absolutely selction of their three different ages Culatello home made and their home made cutlets and salami. Risotto al tartufo was also very good and their signature dish "Suprema di Cappone" was really something delicious. Maybe we would suggest to divide in a better way... More
