Having bought a property here just 12 months ago we’ve been robbed of the real Rivira/Calahonda by COVID so have searched high and low for who is open when we’re here. By far La Estancia tops the list fabulous food great service and reasonable prices....Lamb chops are to die for. Highly recommendMore

Fantastic Restaurant Visited for the second time in 2 weeks last night. I have to say on behalf of all 4 of us that every course of our meals was beautiful. This place is modern .... exceptionally clean .......a great menu at a very reasonable...priced. Our waiter was very friendly and interacted with us in the most pleasant manor. Thank you for a lovely evening. This is a must for anyone wanting to experience great food by lovely people.More

Every visit to La Estancia is an absolute joy, both in terms of service and food. Like everywhere on the Costas at the moment, restaurants are empty with reduced staffing levels. This does not detract from the level of service or the attention to detail of...the chef. Every steak I have ever had here has been fantastic and the staff great. They may be down, but they certainly do not show it. Would 100% recommend this place for a fantastic meal.More

We have visited before so it was a joy to return. The decor and style is elegant. The staff are fantastic. The food is simply delicious. The complimentary zucchini soup starter, the Argentinian chorizo to share and, of course, the steak! All cooked to perfection...and served in a timely manner. Plus, the red wine was palatable too. For a lovely steak dinner, it’s hard to beat in terms of service and value.More

This remains our favourite steak house in the costa del sol and luckily for us it is local. The meat is unfailingly well prepared and the garlic bread is lovely too. Although we often have the steak we also love the Caesar salad which has...lashings of parmasan shavings. The wine menu is very acceptable and the food is very competively priced. They also do specials on certain days including a free bottle of wine per couple when pre-booking on a Tuesday or Thursday. All I would say is ring back the banoffee pie! Theirs is excellent - flavours one without being cloying.More

We ate here on a Friday evening - absolutely amazing. We had two different steaks - one Argentinian and the other local - both cooked beautifully and to how we had ordered. We have a bit of a habit of sharing our dishes and we...chose to have fries with one and a jacket with the other - both and other sides were great. Cannot recommend this highly enough - service was great- we will definitely be back.More

What an amazing experience at this restaurant, from the friendly service to the mouthwatering, jaw dropping, tender steak EVER!!! Just simply 'Wow'!! You will not be disappointed. I had the beef loin (filet migon) Hubby had the rib eye in mustard sauce, equally as delicious...in every bite. Enjoy your visit!! We did.More

We ordered 3 filet mignons with pepper sauce and one entrecote which I must say, the kitchen staff excelled at. The meat was done perfectly, the pepper sauce was spicy, and the potatoes and padron pepper were perfect. The only thing wrong with our experience...was how our waiter reacted when we told him my glass of wine had sediment in it and seemed cloudy and a bit off. He said it was fine and that it was from the same bottle my wife's came from. I ordered a different wine and sent the other one back. After a great meal the check came, and he charged me for the bad glass. Nobody wants to argue after a nice meal so I didn't mention it and paid the bill. A simple gesture of taking it off the bill and not arguing with me would have gone a long way to make things right.More

Hi Craig, They take American express card. If you are in Calahonda you must go to La estancia. The food is amaizing and every Friday night they have a Latin night they have a summer menu out too.
