We initially tried the pub out for a quick beer and cider. Which was very good by the way! Seeing the menu we decided to stay and eat. I tucked in a t-bone streak whilst my husband had a pork and apple pie. The food was traditional pub grub, nice large portions and very very good. We finished off with... More

Hahaha. It just makes me laugh when people write a review for a restaurant or pub and they don't even have the decency to get the correct establishment then they follow up with a bad review. How do you think the actual owners of the wrong pub feel when they are being given a bad review when IT'S NOT THEM!!!!!... More

Popped into the Plough on a Tuesday lunchtime. Ordered Scampi for my partner and faggots for myself. We both agreed that the meals looked amazing, and not only that, they tasted lovely and they were both generous portions. I would recommend the food at the Plough and I am sure we will be back for more.

I can only comment on the chicken with chorizo and the creamy haddock and spinach in a cheese sauce as a main course but both were below standard. The chicken dish - the flavour was good and the sauce good but it was tough to get off the bone and you couldn't get a knife through the chorizo it was... More

If you have a two hour window for food then go there, if not you'll be lucky to find it open. They only serve food between 7 - 9pm.

Went here for a birthday dinner, staff were lovely and food was excellent and very well presented. The creamy haddock with the poached egg starter was especially tasty. Wrington is very pretty and we loved our visit, which was made even better by our dinner at The Plough Inn.

I've reviewed this place before and although I gave them a good review I mentioned several shortcomings. Well, we attended there over the week-end and there's been a definite overall improvement. The food was top notch with a varied, different and interesting menu. On the whole the service was excellent. Made for a very enjoyable evening. One minor criticism when... More

We have visited this pub on several occasions at lunchtime and each time the quality of the food has been superb. Also the portions are large, giving fantastic value for money. Dogs are welcome too. We will certainly return whenever in the area.

Me and my partner love this place, we generally go in for lunch time dining and take our dog who is always made to feel welcome. We ordered a T-Bone Steak for my partner this was cooked perfectly, tasted awesome and the portion size was great too and I had ham, egg and chips which was equally as delicious and... More
