Is says what it is on the menu. Very tasty BBQ. The staff were excellent and had a good knowledge of local wines. Prices are a bit high, but still nice.

We sat outside even though there was a little drizzle. The food here is amazing. We had the wild boar pizza, which was sweet and delicious, and the lamb burger, which had a lovely taste of some sort of curry on it - which reminded me of mutton satay from south east asia. And dinign surrounded by the emerald lake... More

Restaurant was closed today so we bought very nice sandwiches from The Window at Cilantro and found a lovely spot overlooking the lake.

We went to Emerald Lake on Monday, June 27th and had lunch on the deck at Cilantro on the Lake. I was hungry to have the Bison Burger again, however it is no longer on the lunch menu. Instead, the waiter suggested the "delicious" lamb burger with Soup of the Day. The lamb burger was mushy and made the bun... More

we were late in departing for our excursion, so only had a snack in the small hamlet of field, 10 minutes away, rather than lunch. and decided on walking around the emerald lake loop trail first before eating here. so by the time we settled in, it was after 2:00. we were told before our walk that we couldn't make... You are paying for a view of the lake with food rather than great food with a lake view. It's a tourist trap but if you are desperate for food then give it a try. I had the black bean soup and then pasta. Their sun umbrellas are a little dodgy if you want rest from the heat. Bring cash... More

We stopped at the restaurant for lunch after our hike around Emerald Lake. Surprisingly, they were able to seat us immediately. Their patio has a wonderful view of the lake. My husband and I both ordered the fish tacos. They were delicious but left us wishing we had one more taco.

It was worth every penny to us to sit in the sun and gaze at the surroundings. Just to note, the food was average, small portions and quite expensive. Our service was very slow but we were not in a hurry, so for us, it was all chill :)

Cilantro is a lovely restaurant overlooking emerald lake. The quality o the food and service was excellent, as one might expect from a facility adjoining emerald lake lodge. It provides indoor as well as outdoor dining. Friendly service.
