This place on a Monday at lunch time was so peaceful. About 10 other customers all talking quietly. Loved the shrine with a can of VB see photo. Loved the food. Had stir fry duck with mushrooms and side of boiled rice. Mushrooms so meaty, with snow peas and green beans as well. The flavour was lovely but if you... More

After hearing about this place from family, we finally paid a visit in my last trip to Sydney. Armed with toddler, and hungry adults, this place offered a very generous and great tasting serve of pho! Will happily visit again on any future trip to Sydney. Very close to the station so excellent accessibility!

Pho was disappointing - meat wasn't rare, over-cooked and all clumped together. Waitress was extremely rude and practically yelled at me for asking for things. Don't go here if you expect service with a smile...or good food for that matter.

Our daughter recommended this place to us, as she had been to Vietnam for her honeymoon and said it was authentic, so last night we tried it out. Obviously popular, with people lined up for a table. Luckily, we got in. Our impressions? Forget the decor-not that we took much notice, as the place was packed, but kind of post-industrial... More

The decor in this little restaurant is something else. From display cases filled with collections of crockery, to a fake crocodile stuck on the ceiling (along with other stuff) it would be easy to dismiss this as somewhere worth eating. If you want consistently good Vietnamese food - think pho, stri-fry, Vietnamese pancake, and so on, all at good prices... More

Delicious authentic Vietnamese food and fantastic 'old Hanoi' style decor...If you can put up with bossy and sour service you'll have a great experience. Highly recommended.

We are regulars at this restaurant and have always found the food to be above average. The Salt and Pepper Squid is delicious as is the pancake and the Pho. The décor is a bit dated but creates a great atmosphere. Can get busy but not too crushed. The staff are friendly always friendly. Can get hot in the summer.

We eat here often, can get busy and noisy at meal times but it's well worth it for the good value, authentic Vietnamese meals.

The pho not bad but the calamari and the tofu gruesome. All the atmosphere of the dining room of a down-market old people's home in Hanoi. There are too many decent Vietnamese restaurants in Marrickville for you to waste time here unless you're a masochistic anthropologist.

We have now been here three times. The food is fantastic - combination beef pho is very flavoursome and we share is between two. The crispy pancake is also very tasty. We have ordered fresh rice paper rolls - again, wonderful tastes. Not fancy or flash place - tasty food and knick knacks to observe.
