My favourite pub in Surbiton. Great wine list and bar snacks, stylish and mindfully decorated in keeping with the age of the building, and friendly staff. Board games to be found by the coveted tables at the back too!

Excellent cosy pub next to the station. Beautiful decor and lovely English pub feel. Stayed for lunch and food was very tasty and plenty of it. Excellent service and made to feel very welcome. Highly recommended and looking forward to returning soon.

The Surbiton Flyer is excellently located next to Surbiton Station. The Staff are always welcoming, the clientele are extremely pleasant and the beer is always good.

The Flyer is not the place to go if you want cheap beer - it's hard to find any change from a tenner if you buy a couple of pints of the (well-kept, to be fair) London Pride. Cheap beer is over the road and...up the hill a bit at the Wetherspoons, but for a bustling, friendly after-work atmosphere, the Surbiton Flyer is better. There's a nice ambient buzz about the place, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Good choice of tables and - at 6pm on a weekday evening - a constant throughput of customers coming and going from the station.More

Went there to meet group of friends.. as I was the driver on the night i ordered a pint of lime and soda water this cost £2.40 and along with beer ordered a pint of coke £3.00 this is a total rip off ..did not...help they filled the glass up with ice to make the drinks even smaller... how this can be justified is anyone guess...think peroni was £5.40 a pint ..i understand these prices in central london ..but come on this is a station pub,,,,i questioned the barman and he just smiled and shrugged...More

Went in for lunch, saw their wide range of drinks and thought I was in for a treat! Unfortunately the menu consisted of 2 vegetarian meals, a mushroom burger and nachos (which was a sharing starter). Nothing on the rest of the menu, not even...a veggie sandwich which was very surprising. Very disappointed with the selection. Had the nachos, which were lovely but would’ve liked some more options. The service was lovely and friendly, and the dog was well looked after!More

Terrible pub. Angry staff and rubbish beer. Rely on commuter trade and out shows. Standard fare for a station pub. Avoid.

Good atmosphere in this place, many people in and just little waiting until be seated. There's a good choice of beers and the variety of the dishes is good too; very very good the Scottish egg! The waiters are funny and polite. If you're in...Surbiton come visit this place.More

We have been here a number of times. For a pub bang outside the station it doesn't just rely on the passing trade. It has some interesting places to sit tucked away with a variety of seating types. There are 4 or 5 real ales...and a decent selection of Gins if you are into that . The pub snacks are a step up from the average. Last time we had the Duck scotch egg and hand carved Serrano ham which was carved at the bar. The atmosphere feels welcoming and the staff are friendly. But it doesn't blow you away.More
