Very pleased to be able to visit again to our local restaurant and very happy nothing has changed ! Very warm welcome from Emma & the team and a super lunch which is tasty, generous in portion size and good value for money. Glad you...all made it through lockdown and pleased to see you back up and running !More

We visited twice this week as a family of four, a Sunday roast and Friday evening and on both occasions the food and service were superb. We stayed at the new Solleys Farmhouse apartment and it’s literally steps away so we could enjoy a drink...with our dinner. The hostess was very welcoming as were all the staff on our visits. Book a table to avoid disappointmentMore

Had a lovely lunch today in the beautiful gardens. The steak and ale pie was very tasty with large chunks of beef - best we've tasted in a long long time. Compliments to the chef. The waitresses were having to run around a bit organising...tables with customers arriving but very well done in the circumstances. Well done to all, we will be back again.More

My Wife really enjoyed her mussels in white wine & garlic but my steak & ale pie was average. The pasty on top wasn't fully cooked and the steak pieces were a bit chewy. I also ordered extra chips but they tasted like the oil...needed changing. It was a lovely setting in a nice garden and service was friendly and attentive.More

Reduced menu due to COVID but still very good. Both had pate followed by sirloin steak. Steak cooked to perfection. Very enjoyable. Dining room could get a bit loud but not a problem.

A great find, wonderful family lunch sitting outside on the Terrance. Service was excellent, setting lovely and the food was not only high quality but good value. Didn't intend to have desserts when we popped in on the way back from my son's football match,...but couldn't resist. Recommend the Brownies and the Creme Brulee, oh, and the Pork Loin, Hulumi frits, etc.More

Had high hopes of a lovely evening based on previous reviews but sadly having now eaten out 4-5 times since Covid reopening it appears for some establishments this is an excuse to provide less than expected service and in the case of the BP that...even goes as far as hand your own cutlery, one paper menu for 4 people, hand your own glasses and water, open your own wine etc. Essentially the only think we weren't asked to do was cook our own food!!!! It's ironic that no one was wearing masks, the atmosphere was zero and the fact the restaurant was empty by just after 9pm must signal people don't appreciate this level of DIY dining It's not that any Gov requirements specify this level of DIY as we have checked and eaten at other covid safe restaurants who handed out a paper menu each, provided an opened wine bottle etc The food was OK but again (and understood due to less staff) the choice of food was very limited but what we did order was cooked well and reasonably tasty. The being rushed to choose (remember we had one menu between 4) was very annoying Overall a disappointing experience so and given the approx 1 hour stays by other tables I suspect the bookings will reflect our experience in not coming backMore

We come to Deal a few times a year and family suggested the Blue Pigeon in Worth. We were not disappointed!! Set in a beautiful tiny village, this restaurant was a great experience! All set up with social distancing measures and staff went above and...beyond working very hard for all their customers! We came for Sunday lunch which was delicious and huge portions! Starters and deserts were also fantastic!! Cant wait to return but make sure you book to avoid disappointment!!More
