This is a lovely place to stay. The food was very good and service was personal. There are some very historic aspects to the building worth looking at the dinning room upstairs. Large room, to be fair it had a screened window but sadly we left the other window open and were visited by some of the local mosquitoes.

We arrived in the pouring rain to a warm welcome to our room and the drying facilities for boots and waterproofs. We later had a very enjoyable meal with outstanding service from all the staff.

On our way back we stopped by this place, and we were glad we did. Very friendly people and very good food. I personally had the big salad with chicken and chilisauce (Euro 11,50). I loved it, very good!

Just check out my hotel review, the dinner was fantastic and so the breakfast. We were offered a wide choice of dishes and they were all traditional. We were told the kitchen was closing at 7.30 pm, but they extended it for us given we've had a problem with one of the motorcycles. Super!

we had the good fortune of eating outside on glorious July evening. The host could not have been friendlier. We had one in our group that spoke German...THAT HELPED!

We have been driving through Steingarden for a number of years and bypassed this establishment. It's just off the main road in the village square. Beer and wine both good. Food excellent especially the schnitzel and the Zigeunersteak. A highly recommended diversion for lunch.
