Lovely old building in a small village with very attentive staff/ owner, looking at the menu all our questions answered where the ingredients where from if they were locally sourced ,I ordered the cod in hazelnut crumb pan fried and it was cooked beautifully.

This really is a pub in pristine condition with friendly owners. The bar food is great and it also has a lovely restaurant that opens from Tuesday onwards. A good selection of Beers and wine. I enjoyed the local Cider. This pub also has lovely accommodation.

If you are looking for something a bit special try eating here. Good choice, changing menu locally sourced meat and veg.

The overall experience was pleasant, but not exceptional. The menu was varied... More

My wife and I stayed overnight en route to Kent. We had eaten during the afternoon and, consequently, had no need of an evening meal. Whilst relaxing in the sitting area the owner passed by with food for another group of people and the aroma was enough to get our taste buds going. We mentioned this to the owner on... More
