Went here for a celebration meal on Saturday. Service was second to none, staff couldn't do enough and so very friendly. Food was perfect, especially the twice baked souffle starter. And the wine...! Top night. Highly recommend.

The in house restaurant offers a limited but well chosen menu, food is of a high standard and the service is very goo.

I went for afternoon tea with my friend and her mum. We were sat in the glass room which was nice. I thought £14.50 was a bit pricy for what we got, in hindsight we should of asked about the fillings for the sandwiches as one of us doesn't like cream cheese and mayonnaise and another doesn't like salmon. The... More

We had been given a lovely gift, afternoon tea for two, real treat time! Eventually we decided to go to Lanes Hotel and indulge in our gift. First impressions, lovely old building tucked away behind very modern extensions, large car park with little flower beds. Clean and tidy. Second impression when we walked into the reception/bar/comfortable chairs/more working area....... Yes,... More

This place is ok. There was nothing wrong with the food. The portion sizes were good possibly leaning towards too large (not the biggest problem however). There was a small amount of confusion around the gluten free options, in fairness we had not said there was a gluten allergy at time of booking. Toilets were clean. The Staff tried hard... More

We visited for lunch. Service was slow to the point of incompetent. Elements of our meals were missing, the lager and wine had not been chilled - a cheek when charging £7.50 for a glass of house white wine. Staff studiously avoided customers. It's no wonder they only had 4 tables in for lunch.

We just popped in to meet our son. From the moment we arrived we were well looked after. Without exception every member of staff was delightfully pleasant and they seemed so content. We stayed for lunch and it was tasty, well presented and delicious. What more does anyone want. Thank you and well done to those young girls. The ambiance... More
