Living locally and frequently enjoying eating out and in particular Sunday lunch I felt compelled to write a good review for the food we enjoyed last Sunday at the Lord Nelson. By far and a way the best Sunday lunch for miles around.

Went on Friday early evening, the bar was very busy, giving the pub a nice atmosphere, we were dealt with immediately by a very nice young man, the food was excellent as was the service from all members of staff , would definitely recommend!

It's 14.50 for rib of beef and 19.95 for roast sirloin - it's certainly not cheap - but you get what you pay for - and we've always really enjoyed it.
