It is the fourth time we eat at Locanda Pincelli and we always leave very satisfied. Apparently simple dishes but with unique flavours.
There is a sore point... which we let pass twice as the skill of the chef always leaves us with a smile on our faces and so we let it go. The gentleman at the checkout, on two separate evenings, "accidentally" priced the desserts separately, even though they were included in the tasting menu, making them pay twice. This didn't happen when we found a girl or a boy at the checkout. Always look at the receipt, please. If it happens a third time, we will certainly point it out, because "errare humanum est perseverare autem diabolicum".

Osteria in the true sense of the word but with a touch of elegance. I ate the best ravioli of my life. Stuffed with duck, with smoked soy sauce butter, mushrooms and coffee. Amazing combination.
The Emilian taco is also excellent as an appetizer, filled with low-temperature cooked bacon, soy mayonnaise, cabbage and coriander.
The ravioli were so good that my partner, after tasting mine, ordered them instead of dessert.
Kind and attentive service.
Price aligned with the quality of the menu.
For 2 starters, 2 first courses, 1 second course, 1 dessert (with wonderful caper ice cream), 1 bottle of Trento DOC for €40, we spent €62 each. Absolutely worth trying. We'll be back.

Place recommended by colleagues. The inn evokes places of yesteryear, frugal but with style. They offer tasting menus of 6 or 9 courses, we opted for the 9 courses with great satisfaction. Refined and very good dishes... fantastic Emilian tacos and lamb. Small point of attention: little choice for children.
Great lunch in a place that tasted like home

Evening at the Pincelli inn with friends. We didn't choose the tasting menu because we don't like impositions and we like to choose freely. From the owner's face we understood that our choice had not been appreciated and also from the waiting times... biblical!!! The leaflet with the proposed dishes is unclear and the staff did not explain to us at all what it was about so we found ourselves ordering without knowing what would arrive. The portions are ridiculously small... I think calibrated to the number of courses of the tasting, but if you choose fewer courses, perhaps... you could enlarge the portion... right? After a long wait, I received a tuft of cauliflower that was burnt at the base and we each spent more than the price of the tasting menu. Place to forget 🙁

Off to a good start, 6-course tasting journey: well-studied dishes, right times between one course and the next. Then... slip up on the second course: 45 minutes to have it at the table (moreover on the menu it was indicated as a "tasting only" dish). At our. promptly, we are told that there are only three of us in the kitchen, therefore times amplified in the courses. Problem of the place which unfortunately fell on us. Too bad, sometimes service is more important than the rest...

We have known this place for 2 years now and we return regularly, even though it takes us 1 hour by car each time to reach the Locanda Pincelli.
We took the 9-course tasting menu (50 euros) which changes every time, but without giving up the chef's musts.
The menu amazes us every time, but the Emilian TACOS stands out above all the dishes, as does the radicchio with herring burns and the duck ravioli.
I must say the price is also really excellent, considering the increase in prices we are witnessing lately.
Good wine combined with a very relaxed and peaceful environment.
I will never get tired of coming back! See you soon

But what are we talking about?!
Don't be fooled by the style of the furnishings, because the dishes are truly cutting edge!
The tasting, whether it is 6 courses (40 euros) or 9 (50 euros) will fill you up and leave you "speechless"!!
I recommend: don't forget to ALWAYS order the Emilian Tacos which will make you addictive) and the tortelli with duck (which will make you "addictive")
I won't describe the dishes any further because regardless of what you order, you will say WOW!
I forgot: courtesy is right at home.
10 on the report card!

In the six-course tasting the other night, several positives stand out.
Those not related to food are the very kind service, friendliness and the charming outdoors.
During dinner we tasted a chitarrina alla guinea fowl and livers (in a good way), a very good turnip in green pepper sauce and a herb lamb with burnt lemon, as they say in my part “to go there on purpose”.
The spaghetti with tomato, which co-starred coconut, was a dish that touched us without hitting us: coconut was a forced and unconvincing guest.
My sweet pepper on interesting paper, but
In the end result a provocation and not a dessert, much less a good dessert.
The times were very long between starters, then gradually narrowed, leading overall to a sensible timing.

Nice place in the middle of the beautiful Emilian countryside to spend a nice evening
The restaurant is located in a village dating back to the 1400s and in summer it is also possible to dine outdoors in a magnificent setting. The internal rooms are spacious, well soundproofed and the tables are correctly separated and well set. We chose the 6-course tasting menu and we had the opportunity to try some new but well-executed proposals and all very tasty from the first courses to the dessert
Nice wine list and excellent price/quality ratio

Very disappointed with this business: average quality, tasting portions even though I ordered à la carte, average prices, certainly not high, non-existent service. I ate not hot pasta and a second course without a side dish. We were not happy, in fact very dissatisfied, we will not return.

There were 4 of us and we chose 8 different dishes to appreciate the quality.
Starters, notable first and second courses, some made of simple raw materials but which have become very interesting due to the remarkable creativity. Even though we really enjoyed all the dishes, for me the Guancia is a 10: great quality and perfect cooking.
An excellent bottle of Ripasso Magi accompanied the lunch excellently. Absolutely adequate bill 35 euros each. Excellent service even considering it was Christmas! GOOD

In the open countryside I was expecting a rustic restaurant but instead a splendid cuisine, modern and captivating, gave me a wonderful sensorial experience. Above all, potato foam with pesto and snails, fantastic duck tortelli with black cabbage broth and last but not least tortellini with caciocavallo. The desserts were less successful but did not lower the rating level. Friendly and welcoming service. Amazing price for a 9-course tasting menu. The wine list is also excellent

Excellent food, honest cellar. Great place! There's not much else to add. The dishes are absolutely beautiful, with perfectly balanced contrasts. Some unusual combinations but delicious on the palate, as well as on the eye. Very courteous service. I am told, not having paid myself, of a great value for money. Having chosen the wine I can say that the markups are generally fair, which is becoming increasingly rare.

Although the place doesn't say much, the cuisine makes up for all this. Well-made, balanced dishes, with risky flavors on paper but which the palate rewards from the first taste.
Like I said… absolutely worth trying.
Prices more than fair and good wine list.
Friendly staff and quick service.

Bologna the fat... Emilia Romagna to taste... but in the end you risk always eating the same things, good, tasty, unique but very similar...
In this beautiful inn, finally a menu that dares, which offers a food and wine journey and which is pleasant for all the senses.
From Bologna it's just over 30 minutes by car, the road isn't the best but it's worth it.
The place is suggestive, creative cuisine in tradition and tasty. Good presentation of the dishes and wine list. We'll be back !
