We stopped off here on the way back from a day out after reading the reviews about Vivine's Kitchen. We were very disappointed, the fish could have been frozen and fried - it didn't look that fresh, the batter (?) was rather soggy and wet - it seemed like it had been microwaved. The fries were frozen and lukewarm at... More

We stopped there for dinner Thursday night. Simple establishment. There is limited parking outside, you can drive by it and not notice it. Lots if pic in tables outside & some under a canapy. I ordered the grouper fish & fries, my daughter had the burger & husband had the fried chicken. The eats were very cheap approx$25 CI. It... More

If you really want an authentic Cayman cuisine, go here. We love the cassava cake so much. This is where the locals go. This place is a must.

I can only speak to the food, since our meal was part of a tour and was ready pretty much when we arrived. Mass quantities of food, pretty good variety. We were there on a Sunday, and our guide said there was usually more on the menu on Sundays. I had an island style shredded beef, which was excellent. My... More

First and foremost, this is a local joint, and the food is basically made in a lady's kitchen. If that doesn't sit well with you, then skip it. The food was delicious and prices are great (BYOB if you wish, no alcohol sold there but sodas, juices and water are sold). You go inside and look at the board. What's... More

This little place on the side of the road is the home to Vivian. Sweet older lady cooking in your kitchen and making down home Caribbean style food. Everything we tried was delicious, the plates were full and generous and the view is spectacular from her backyard. We're already talking about going again

Maybe we missed the mark here by going for supper because on another drive by, it looked like they may have had a bbq which may have been better. Not much fish in the battered fish, cold mashed potatoes and frozen not fresh veggies.

Vivine's Kitchen is excellent home cooking if you're a native and great for foreigners to taste. The food is good everyday they're open.

Very small, mostly outside 'hole in the wall' restaurant but amazing food and nice location. Rum Cake is amazing. You wont see it advertised much but you have to eat there if you are on the island.
