We stumbled on this place whilst doing a motorbike tour of the Douro valley
It is really good, the rooms are well appointed and really clean
The pool is excellent and the gardens are lovely and immaculate and nothing was too much trouble

"A Casa do Almocreve" was one of the best restaurants we´ve been in this region. This is the kind of place where you should order one of their specialties. We had "Anho Assado", which is the offspring of a sheep, and it was really fantastic....More
