V good value for money. V friendly, great location. If you want a straightforward meal (with chips) this is the place to come. NB Fish pie comes with chips!

Why an earth are there not more village pubs like this anymore. Located in a beautiful spot opposite the village green. Plenty of beer options and a traditional robust food menu. Locals are friendly and Tony the landlord is brilliant.

the pub serves food from 12.0 lunchtime and 6pm at night I have seen kids eat at both times
