We first had dinner here almost 10 years ago. We were surprised to find that they were still in existence, but family wanted to take us to where we had dinner back then. I have been there for lunch and I can say everything was excellent. I had fabulous duck. Restaurant is very new and quite big. Best is the waitress, one of the nicest and beautiful girl I have never met, as well professional and well prepared....Can't wait to meet her again...More
Excellent polish food. Had soup, pirogies and dessert. Best pirogies I have ever had. Very reasonably priced also.
Our hotel had recommended Lews. They told us it was a historic building in the old town center and we didn’t quite know what to make of it when we saw the outside. The inside however, was a wonderful surprise: a very nice ambience in...–what looked like freshly renovated – dining rooms. The pretty decoration went well with the slow music in the background and the excellent waitress bringing wonderful food made altogether a memorable evening. We ordered local dishes, pork and beef stuffed Polish pirogis as appetizers followed by a beef kotelette with roast potatoes and beetroot for my husband and rabbit in a cream sauce with homemade noodles and a beetroot salad. My husband claimed that his kotelette could have been bigger but everything tasted very good. As foreign visitors we thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience and hope many people find their way to this restaurant.More
Enjoyed a lunch here while passing through. 3-course menu was tasty, seasonal and affordable. Interior was clean and homely, staff friendly and menu also in English. Will come here again
We thoroughly enjoyed coming across this sweet little place. Nice varied menu. I enjoyed the salmon and my mom had delicious rabbit. Very friendly staff and relaxing background music made it a special part of our visit to Zary
Nice décor, very friendly staff who speak good English. The food was very tasty and fresh. The menu is in Polish, English and German, they cater for vegetarians and gluten free diets. I will certainly go back to this restaurant. Note: it is actually called...restaurant Lew and is situated just of the main square in Zary.More

Really good place! delicious food, warm place, soft music , really good service. What can I say, its place, where I will for sure come again and again.
After being told by a local that the best restaurants were well away from the town centre, we four were pleased to find this little gem just off the main square and well away from the crowded pedestrian mall with its many cafes, restaurants and...gelato bars. Restaurant Lew is housed in a lovely old, and very well preserved, building and has a small outdoor area at the rear of the premises. It was too cold for us this August day so we settled for lunch indoors. Among the dishes we enjoyed thoroughly were an appetiser of tomato slices and basil pesto on a light rye bread, beetroot soup, venison and potatoes, sirloin steak with potato wedges and vegetables, ravioli, and we all tried their lovely berrry tart. The food was well prepared and presented and it was a pleasure to dine there. The price was well below what we paid for comparable meals in countries to the west.More
