Good food for an average price. Homemade pizza (320bth) with good size and excellent pad Thai (100 bth). Fast service and friendly staff.

We wouldn't have expected such nice pizza's in Thailand. The people were extremely nice in the some what average looking but cozy restaurant. The desert was offered from their side. If you want pizza, and nice hospitality please go here!

We just took a chance at eating here as it overlooked the river. We didn't expect much but really loved the thin pan, loaded pizza. Lots of gooey cheese, loads of toppings , just delicious.

it shows again: go for Italian to the Italian, for Thai to the Thai and for Indian to the Indian. We ordered spaghetti aglio e olio. Actually, there's not much you can do wrong. What came was a tasteless children's portion with a quartered chili pepper as decoration for the price of 180 THB

If you really want pizza then they at least have a wood fired oven and it's a very short walk from the entrance to the park. The pizza was pretty slow to arrive (25 mins). There was only one other table there and they were already eating. Nothing to complain about but very forgettable. The "salami" was actually cheap ham. More staff than customers but they were on their phones. Only one spoke English so the others ignored us.

shout out to the people who call this place a tourist trap. congratulations! you're a tourist! you're looking for pizza on a highway just outside of a national park rainforest jungle! get over it. what it is: a small, open-air, rustic restaurant that figured out people like pizza, so they built a proper oven and went for it. what it isn't: actually Italian, classy, or totally clean. the photos of the chef / owner feeding his octogenarian mom are all you need to know: without being Italian, this place is actually as close to cucina familia as you can get in Khao Sok. they built a brick oven, and they use proper Italian ingredients and variations as much as possible. compared to the other places on the same street offering the same thing, this place is the best option. food is overpriced for Thailand, but you are 100 yards from a paid entrance to a tourist destination. what do you expect? a pizzeria needs a few simple things: 1) a proper pizza oven, 2) simple fresh ingredients, 3) an observable chain of multi-generational family operating the place. They meet all three criteria. Wood fired, hand tossed pizza. Fresh cut basil from the plants out front. And a family run operation where they will go to 2 or 3 establishments on the same block just to get you proper change. That's called hustle. And it's appreciated. pro tip: wine in Thailand is ROUGH. good luck with that. get a nice cold Chang with your pizza, and stop complaining about the chianti in Khao Sok. It's not the best food you've ever had. It's not the cleanest restaurant you have ever been to. But guess what? YOU'RE ON A JUNGLE HIGHWAY IN THAILAND. At this point in your trip, maybe you're tired of Thai food and you want a little change, knowing it's a crap-shoot once you venture from local cuisine. Why not try some pizza? You could do a lot worse. Try Da Papino!

I feel bad for saying this, but this place feels like a tourist trap - in the jungle, not much competition, doesn't look like they care much about the restaurant because tourists will come anyways. I understand that this is Thailand and it's not easy to keep things clean and ant free, but SO many restaurants do a much much better job - so there's no reason for this place to be that dirty and not managing to keep the tables ant free. and it smells really bad too, like sewage - probably from the river right next to the restaurant. It doesn't have to be spotless - but just show a little bit that you care. the pizza's that we ordered were not great, but not terrible - decently edible I would say. my mom had a glass of wine - rookie mistake. she says it's probably the cheapest cooking wine they could find. we regret not leaving this place right away - just such a shame to waste money on food like that.
