Very pleasant interior with masses of outdoor areas but there was a chilly biting wind, too cold for an 'alfresco' lunch. Service was good, good choice of beers. One of my party is a vegetarian, she had a bean burger salad and was quite satisfied. My sister had one of the many fresh crab dishes on offer and was also... More

Stopped here after a dog walk to the beach whilst camping nearby. Surreal site of a beer garden full of dogs of every shape size and breed left us in no doubt our dogs were very welcome. Lovely to see people able to relax with their four legged friends. We ordered Sunday lunch which was delicious- both the meat and... More

My family and I (2 kids) really enjoyed our lunch at The Village Inn. The pub offers traditional and fresh pub food which we really enjoyed. We had baguettes, a steak and ale pie and fish fingers for the kids. Very tasty, not gastro pub style, just good old fashioned, simple good food.

A dog friendly basic pub in the village of West Runton. Bit of a mish mash, cross between a pub, a cafe and a restaurant. Ok to stop for a drink.

My husband and I stopped off here today after walking the dog along the sherringham area, north Norfolk coast. we searched and found this pub through triipadvisor. The food was just okay, nothing to moan about, basic but over priced at £14.00 for roast beef(two slices) and £12.00 for a roast chicken lunch. Instant gravy and a frozen Yorkshire pudding! Fresh... We visited The Vilage Inn while on holidays in late October for a Sunday roast - in our case it was a vegeterian option. What can I say - the portions were massive and the food was absolutely delicious, very very tasty nut roast, lovely roasted vegetables and a nice pint. They are also dog friendly, which we didn't realise... More

Visited here last Sunday for a roast at about 6pm. The pub itself offers plenty of parking and inside has a lovely fire and great feel. You certainly don't feel like the locals are against you being there! I had a turkey roast at £12 and it was amazing. There was a huge amount of turkey, stuffing, Yorkshire pudding, lots... More
