This is the final pit stop to Laiya where you can taste kapeng Barako, Barako ice cream and Tamales. This restaurant has been in the same spot for years and it was the 1st gasoline station/coffee shop in San Juan, Batangas. It has undergone renovations but still has maintained the old school vibe.

We had an early lunch at Cafeno on a Monday. Here's what we ate: Tapa - average Coffee - good Tamales - average Chocolate cake - good Dalandan juice - average Interiors: unique Ambiance: relaxing (even if it's right beside a busy road)

good thing we were able to reserve before arrival, the coffee shop is just small.. yet it is very cozy... the food is cheap and yummy... pity some of our orders are out of stock because of many clients i guess.. but overall, if given a chance i would love to come back here!

Coffee! Having driven nearly 130 kilometers from Quezon City, I needed caffeine for the remaining 22 kms to Laiya. Never mind that it was a blistering hot afternoon and the cafe's frontage at the corner of the street seemed to be soaking in the sunshine. I really had to stop. Maybe, just maybe they'd have the famed Batangas barako coffee.... More

I am a local of San Juan Batangas. I always see Cafeño but never had a time to try. So my sister went there for she had a meeting with someone, and my co employee also went there and tried their best-sellers.. I heard good comments from them. So while waiting for my friends to come and pick me up... More

lets be honest Filipino food does not rate highly amongst global cuisine, but Cafeno is a calm oasis amid the madding crowds calmly and expertly serving traditional Filipino food enhanced by quality ingredients well crafted to provide excellent food for locals and discerning expats alike.San Juan is fast becoming a culinary delight and Cafeno is one of its highlights.

Aside from there freshly picked lettuce, coffee barako, cafeños desserts are tempting and really makes me drool! It is a good stop of your going to visit Laiya and before leaving San Juan to Manila!

On the way home from Palm Beach Resort, we had our brewed coffee here! It tasted like one of those popular coffee shops in the Metro. The aroma and the kick is overwhelming plus the ambiance of the cafe was classic!
