Warm scones with plenty of clotted cream served in a pot. Two scones come with two little Tiptree jars of jam - strawberry and blackcurrant. Not sure if the blackcurrant jam makes for a perfect cream tea - might be worth asking for 2x strawberry.

Lovely and peaceful. Popped in as we saw the notice board saying Naughty Cream Teas. The scones were light and warm to touch which was perfect. Nice polite staff aswell.

We dropped in here for lunch on route to our hotel. Delicious sandwiches and coffee. Quaint surroundings, good value for money and a plentiful menu.

Came here with a large group for breakfast. Good choice of breakfast options from the full English to smaller breakfasts such as two items on bloomer or muffin. The BEST consisted of bacon, egg, sausage, tomato, mushroom and fried potatoes. All this with toast and a drink for £7.85 - very tasty and excellent value. After 11am they do sandwiches.... More

Food very good, nice outdoor seating and very friendly staff. Perfect place for snack, meal etc. Cream teas and cheese scones very good. Was hoping for wifi as no mobile reception, that's my only reason for not 5 stars.

I came here for just something small. I had a smoked chicken and mayonnaise sandwich on granary bread. We had a slice of chocolate cake to share to. They were rushed off their feet as it was bank holiday but I feel they coped well. The lady with the strawberry blonde hair was particularly good to us and seemed to... More

Rather than stay in the hotel for a very over-priced breakfast we visited the Old Farmhouse. Very homely place with friendly staff, a very varied menu. Prompt service, piping hot food well presented - all at a very reasonable price.

The creamteas are amazing light and fluffy, the pots of jam are cute and dinky and the cream is fresh. The drinks were piping hot and were made at a bar by a lovely looking girl about 15 years old blonde hair. she brought us our drinks and seemed very nice even if it was hard to understand her as... A lovely restaurant with lots of rooms and plenty of tables. Good atmosphere and excellent customer service. It was so nice to see plenty of staff available, all of whom were very attentive. The food was very good too, the cakes were delicious and it was reasonably priced.
