Found this cute and cosy little restaurant by chance and im so glad we did! The kebab starters were juicy and full of so much flavour along with the Hyderabadi mutton starter. We also ordered boneless lamb biryani with raita and it was mouthwateringly gorgeous. Naans were soft, crispy and dripping in butter but not to the point of being soggy, they were just perfect!
Our waiters were really accommodating, friendly and also helped by suggesting dishes off the menu when we couldn’t decide (so much choice). They really went above and beyond to make our experience here an enjoyable one.
The dining area was super clean and was lovely and warm where we were seated.
We will definitely visit this cute indo-Chinese/Pakistani restaurant again when visiting London!

Well, we get a takeout every weekend from last 1 year until and unless we are abroad for holidays.
Authentic chicken dum biryani no pot, my favourite.
Very good chilli chicken, chicken manchurian, schezwan momos and lamb dum biryani no pot, chicken lollipop.
We also used to regularly order chicken 65 but now it's a hit and miss and smells of stale oil so stopped ordering.
The restaurant is very compact with tacky furniture so no dine in for me.
A big shout out to the Biryani chef from a Biryani food lover.
The manager and waiter both have been polite over the years knowing I'm a regular customer.
Over weekends, getting roadside parking is difficult. Also, order in time can be 30-45min wait, so show patience.

If i could give 0 i would. Easily the worst ever restaurant experience i have ever had. We ordered chilli paneer, chicken noodles and masala chips. The owner recommended chicken lollypop and after he pushed for a while, we obliged. The food was average at best, nothing special and definitely not worth travelling for. The recommended chicken lollypop was cold and the 'fried' chicken was soft and not crispy, and had definitely been sitting and sloshed in the same sauce used for all of the other dishes. I honestly can't understand the high reviews on this restaurant. To make matters worse, when the bill came, we wanted to pay for all of the items that we ate, we had left half of the portion of chicken lollypop as we were so disappointed, and asked for the lollypop to be removed from the bill, as it was the owner's recommendation. After this request, the owner bluntly refused and got very angry and proceeded to call me a cheapskate and have a full blown argument with me in the restaurant in front of customers. Quite simply appalling behaviour. On our request to not pay for one item, the owner then decided to pull the shutters down in the shop and effectively lock us and the other patrons in the shop. Quite simply forcing us into paying in order to leave. This is appalling and disgusting behaviour and the owner should be ashamed of treating anyone like that, let alone a customer.

It was just today that i went to this restaurant with my friends after a long day..expecting good food as i saw few reviews..
to be honest this was 'The Worst Experience Till Date'
we order
manchaw soup. -1/10
chicken lollipops gravy. 1/10
butter chicken. -100/10
something mutton. 2/10
naan. 10/10
We ordered two soups, but only one was delivered. At first, I was going to ask for another, but after tasting it, I realised that it was better that they only gave us one.
The next item is a strange, albeit palatable, chicken lollipops.
After that, they served butter chicken and mutton, though the quantity was surprisingly small given the price when we ordered. We had requested a little spice in the butter chicken, but what they gave us was sugar liquid, and when we complained that it was too sweet, the waiter who was assisting us was incredibly RUDE.
He took it inside and then bought hopefully another just adding green chilli paste we told him it wasn't butter chicken anymore and he said, "SO ARE YOU THE CHEF NOW??!!'
Only 2 of the 6 naans we ordered were actually delivered.
mutton with bone is just bone and little fat it has no flesh at all !!
food and service are of very low quality.
The waiter did not ask if we were satisfied or that we were well-served; he simply left the bill on the table.

Visited with family of 6 for a dine in. On placing the order we were told the minimum order should be £10 per person which we thought was not reasonable and also 90 minutes maximum to stay at the restaurant. On playing the order for starters the server would not process our order because it did not meet their price requirement for each person. We were basically forced to place more food. I highly recommend not to visit or to restaurant it a very bad management and are forcing to order food which we don’t wanted to.
Their rediculous policies are money making. The management before this as Desi Flava was a first class service & taste.
I am attaching you’ll their policies which forces customers to order food as there is no option as we came especially there to eat
Pls. Don’t go highly recommended

We visited because we wanted Chinese and this place was perfect for it!
We ordered starters which included Chicken 65, tofu and others and our family was really impressed!!! It came quickly and the hot plates were an added bonus.
The mains were delicious!!!!!!! I was really impressed by the Dum Biryani!! The waiter told us about the layers in the biryani and it tasted amazing. My mum ordered the soup and she really enjoyed it. Even our little nephew loved the chicken lollipops.
I would really recommend this restaurant to anyone who wanted a mix of indo Chinese food!!!!
We loved the fortune cookies at the end too :)

Less is more I find in reviews so I'll quite simply say, this place is phenomenal.
My benchmark for this cuisine is high based on culture and home cooking however this hits the mark on many levels.
Sauce choice on all dry dishes were excellent, the food itself out promptly and the owner attentive and assertive with reccomending the accompaniments such as sliced onion or fresh chilli's on the side to boost the taste of each bite of your meal.
Chicken lollipop the best I've ever had. I tend to avoid Southall at all costs but the trip a million % worth it to dine here!

Chicken 65 and Chicken Lollipops are amazing! So is the Hyderabadi Mutton are amazing too, recommended with the Biryani but we had with peshwari naan it was still amazing!!!!! SO good I’m going to come back at least once a month , if only I lived closer!!!!!

Great food, equally great service and a warm, welcoming ambience.
The food was delicious, spice level adjusted to our palate on request. It was served with a warm smile always and helpful guidance to choose the dish according what you fancy at the time.
Couldnt find a more authentic Indian / I do Chinese restaurant at Southall that serves both meat eaters and vegetarians

We were drawn to this place because of its funky fusion menu. There’s a lot of choice! We settled on butter chicken (because I like basics), Szechuan noodles and a spiced cauliflower starter (gobi 65). The food was good and I’m excited to go back and try more things! Butter chicken was very flavoursome, the noodles hit the spot and the gobi 65 was phenomenal. The service was a little forgetful - not rude or intentionally ignoring us, but there were a couple of moments where they could have paid better attention. And to their credit, they did offer us a dish on the house once we made them aware. The pricing is reasonable and they are very vegetarian-friendly with lots of choices. The atmosphere is lovely too, I’ll definitely go back.

Great experience overall! Loved their Handi Chicken Karahi that the owner recommended for me. The naan bread tasted fresh, chicken was perfectly tender. Service was nothing but great.
The only downside was the chicken nuggets and chips for my kid. He wasn’t used to having nuggets made of actual chicken (used to McDonalds nuggets 😅)
I can highly recommend this food and restaurant.

The chicken lollipops were just as amazing as promised, as were the sizzling kebabs, steamed momos and everything else we had. The chilli garlic fish deserves a special mention for the beautiful cooking of the fish, and the mango lassis are addictive - just the right amount of sweetness and creamy enough to double-up as a dessert. Worth travelling from East Dulwich for!

Best IndoChinese!
Came to this restaurant on a whim and honestly it was the best decision. Food is super tasty, cooked to a very high standard. Chicken dishes were not dry at all, very moist chicken and the dishes were flavoursome. Service was also very good. They even offer a sweet lime soda which is hard to come by. I would definitely recommend this place and will be visiting soon again!

We ordered a curry which turned out to be a little too spicy for us. They came back with a less spicy curry without even having to ask for it. When you get customer service like this, it makes you want to come back time and time again.
