We popped in here for a quick lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Good selection of beer and other beverages. The food selection was varied and straight forward with very reasonable prices. My choice was simply steak and kidney pie, this was a great choice as it was in my mind a traditional recipe with lovely pastry and the meat was... More

If it's wholesome, homemade food you are looking for at a decent price then look no further. The menu changes daily and everything I have tried has been amazing. Friendly staff and great value.

A really friendly 'traditional' pub with some good beer choices and excellent staff. Lively even for a lunch time and a great location just opposite the underground station!! Food was ok - fairly typical British pub style - nothing special but again friendly staff and served promptly. Definitely great for a Friday lunch time 'stop off' :-)

Wow wow wow. Amazing genuine home cooked food. Had the roast pork on Sunday. Good selection of meats. great value. Generous portions. Best roast potatoes. Bargain at £7.50. Lovely friendly staff. Good to know they serve food on a Sunday lunchtime. Will visit more often thanks again.

went here for a staff night out and to watch the Wales Belgium match, great location just next to the tube station in uxbridge, really friendly service, which you don't always get at other bars in the town.Even though it was busy staff were really polite and professional and queues were non-existent everyone got served quickly.Great atmosphere and would recommend

This pub is great. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. Brian does a great job ensuring efficient service and clean tables. The food is delicious home cooking, and the outside area is nice. For functions the conservatory can be booked. It's one of the rare pubs in Uxbridge where you can have a conversation and hear it.

Very disappointed. Child unfriendly pub. Have drank in this pub at various times for many years due to its handy central location but yesterday they went completely down in my estimation. Was watching the Ireland v France match (no comment) and had arranged for my wife and 9 year old daughter to meet me at the end (4pm) to go... More
