It was the first night of our holiday and driving through looking for a place to eat came across The Kings Arms Inn. It was a Monday night and luckily they could give us a table for 4. The staff were friendly and helpful, the drink nice and chilled but I did find difficulty in choosing off the menu. I... More

We only drank here and our beverages were lovely and averagely priced. Only criticism was the unfriendly personality behind the bar.

The pub's atmosphere is great, the staff very pleasant, the food excellent... but - although we were told there would be a wait for our food - an hour and a quarter did seem rather excessive!

We enjoyed a lovely meal in The Kings Arms while staying in Rutland. The food was excellent and service was good. We liked the fact that the restaurant area was very spacious and peaceful despite how busy it was.

We stopped here on the way to Lincoln. It's a little off the beaten track but great if you're going round Rutland Water and want a break. We had a delightful lunch - mine was an excellent Korma - it tasted freshly prepared and home cooked, so different from some curries encountered in pubs. Lovely décor and good service. An... More

An adventurous menu and really great staff. Myself and my friends found the food a little too rich with alot of oils. You can really feel the enthusiasm at this place but I think they need to slow down and really look at each dish. For example the boat, great idea but a tough cut and too much going on.... More

Interesting local menu, bit too much game for us, bit more fish would have been good. But well cooked & presented. Good wine list. For desert had a sharing platter of chocolate dishes, ok but not stunning so overpriced at £28 Front of house should chill out a bit, it wasn't very busy & she was stressing out...but pleasant with... We enjoyed a lovely meal in pleasant surroundings at the Kings Arms. Friendly staff and good service. A nice touch was a map illustrating the source of all the locally produced foods. Delicious bread was served whilst we awaited our main courses. The whole meal was most enjoyable. Good ambiance. Recommended.

A warm welcome and helpful staff together with locally sourced good wholesome food made this a pleasure to enjoy Sunday lunch Traditional beef or lamb with roast potatoes and a seasonal selection of vegetables was served in the dining room. Although a bar / lounge area is also available and good seating outside on a warm day - a favourite... More
