Wonderful food and exemplary service - even with over 400 hungry and discriminating diners. Fantastic value at €20 per head to include wine, water and coffee.

If you want to try the real amatriciana, then this is the place. The choice of courses is limited, but this probably helps making them super quick in serving their food. Obviously not to be missed the amatriciana and the gricia (the version without tomato sauce). Good selection of typical second courses, meat-based. Not recommended for vegetarians, unless you're willing... More

If you have the opportunity to actually go to the city of Amatrice and sample the TRUE pasta amatriciana you have to do it in this restaurant. It is superb. With a specialty of both the white (which is the original) and the red amatriciana you cannot go wrong. The service was superb and the restaurant, which is part of... More

Not so very far from Rome, yet far enough from its constant chaos. In Hotel Ristorante Roma you will find such an exquisite and bargain amatriciana that you will want to come back for more. Indeed, if you find my review of 'Cacio e Pepe' trustful, you wan't be disappointed.

Wandering around the streets of Rome, we came upon this place. Had a nighttime meal outside on an enjoyable warm night. Service was fast, and the ambiance was enlightening. I had Spaghetti Carbonara and it was Delicious. It was hard to find another that compared during my trip.

Famous spot to taste amatriciana but be ready, waiters are so fast and it seems you stay more in a fast food than a restaurant. Amatriciana and griscia are ok maybe bit salty and I appreciated the appetizers too. Overall it was ok just they need waiters more kind and relaxed...

Nice little place to taste a great portion of pasta alla amatriciana in both rossa & bianca presentations! The restaurant is part of a hotel, simple but neat and tidy, and the service is... very Italian! Means fast and concise. Summarizing one of the best pasta alla amatriciana I have ever eaten. fully recommended.

Me, my half-Italian family and a couple of Italian friends (six total) drove to Amatrice from Rome for Sunday lunch on a holiday weekend (Oct 30). We did not have a reservation anywhere (although we should have thought about it beforehand) and all restaurants in town were full. As it happened, it turned out to be the day of the... More
