Called in here while on a bike ride. The lady behind the bar, greeted us with a friendly greeting as we ordered our drinks, made sure our drinks were made just as we wanted. The pub had a nice atmosphere and the ladies toilets were...More

I really wanted to really enjoy a meal here as it is convenient and an area we frequent quite a lot whilst out walking the dog. Being dog friendly was basically what got us through the door. We called on a Thursday evening and managed...More

Stopped here for evening meal while we were staying nearby. Food was delicious and perfectly cooked. I believe part of the inn dates back to 1600s and it was interesting to see the names of so many previous licencees on the wall plaque. Staff great...More

We took a lovely stroll to this pub from Glasson Docks. I would highly recommend the pannis, very delicious and and also not too expensive. The staff were very highly customer focused but not intrusive. Definately recommend.

We went in February and had fish and chips and scampi and chips. Don't think the chips were homemade. The food we had was very good, don't know about the lasagne.
