In this beautiful place I was severel times during organized events and spontaneous ones. The surrounding is marvelous, peaceful and far from the crowd. Feast for souls. Apart from the views the most important is food.dishes selected from Polish cuisine- last time I took "pielmieni"...(kind of dumplings) with mushrooms. Excellent, tasty, good quality and nicely served. Unfortunatelly I didn't take any photo of them (food priorities ;). Oberża is definitely worth visiting and tasting.More
A small, stylish restaurant. The inside and outside are of traditional Polish Mazovia countryside. We had reservation for a dozen and were served quickly and efficiently. Food is traditional and quite good though not extraordinary. Prices are typical for Poland. Overall, a very pleasen experience
Second time in this place and I am amazed even more how great regional dishes it serves. It's crowded, u need to wait for a table, and than try solianka soup. All we tried we loved. If happen to visit this region (Lowicz and Nieborow)...that's a place to eat, or sleep, with little palyground for kids aswellMore
We stopped after resting in the neighboring woods. Decided to have lunch. We were that place before and now we recognized they keep quality proven by number of visitors. Food of local flavor prepared with care and passion
We have visited this restaurant not for the first time and probably we will come again. What can possibly be a better advertisement? The “chłodnik” wasn’t so good, but our main dishes made their job. We had traditional polish meals and they tasted just as...good as grandmothers. Unfortunately, the queue for a table gets longer every time we are there, but it’s worth waiting.More
While traveling through Poland, our group of nine stopped at Oberza pod Zlotym Prosiakiem for some refreshment. Several of us had beer and others had soup and desserts. Everyone seemed to like their selections and we found the service to be friendly and attentive.
I have visited this Oberza so many times and it is always really good food. This is a place for summer or winter. It has a warm traditional feel and is decorated with such interesting items to look at and a lovely wood fire burning...through the winter months. For the summer there is a conservatory or garden with covered areas for shade.
Local beers from the cask are available or bottle beers. Also a range of wines and other alcoholic beverages. Or why not try a local soft drink or tea which is also good for when I need to drive.
The menu is very varied and seasonal items are available. My last visit (Wed 28th February) I chose trout with almonds, oven baked potatoes and a selection of salads. It was perfect.
The service is always very good and friendly, even when it's really busy. The staff know the menu and can answer any questions.
There is plenty of free parking but it is best to book a table over the weekend period as it is very popular.More
I went there for a wedding a couple of days ago - it was really, really good. Cozy but spacious - perfect for a small wedding reception, the staff were really friendly and helpful. The food was top notch except for the fish (the sauce was...pure flour with water). The fact that it's so secluded has its ups and downs.More
