It's as people have said. Reasonable priced proper Indian restaurant. Food good masala and madras very nice. Again the look I liked. It looks like a typical maybe 80s Indian that I actually like a "retro" feel and I hope that doesn't sound insulting it's a bonus. The owner said they are the oldest in Bromley - 51years. Price well... More

As many before me have said this is a reliable curry house, no thrills but in some ways that's what is sometimes required. A little disappointed by a lack of flexibility around the menu, a little hotter or a different meat with the curry. I may well return, it will not be for a meal I plan in advance !

The New India doesnt claim to be anything that it isnt. Its got a nice small menu with your usual british favourites and some specials ... but not pages and pages to plough through of dishes that are flattering to deceive. Food was well cooked , hot and tasty and came at a good pace. They do what they do... More

Went for an evening curry with good chum. Usual menu at reasonable prices. Food was fine. Nothing out of the ordinary but good enough.

I visited on my exploration tour of Bromley. Every week or so I try a new restaurant so I had noticed new india a while ago. tonight was the night! Terrible seems generous I was after a hot beef curry. Only a chilli chicken on the menu. But they had a lamb achari, supposedly made with pickles so should be... More

We was attending the Churchill theatre so walked along east street as there are so many restaurants to choose from there. We thought it looked a nice clean place to eat so would give it a try. The staff was pleasant , food was good and it was nice and cool. would return there again.

I was up in Bromley visiting friends and decided to try a restaurant I hadn't been to before. Firstly, it was a very humid day and on entering a member of staff made sure the fan was pointing in our direction, which was appreciated!. The staff were friendly and the restaurant seemed in reasonable order, without being overly flashy. The... More

The food tastes great you have a variety of dishes to choose and every dish has something special. Do not be affected by the appearance of the restaurant just go inside and order and you will be surprised!
