We had heard that this was a really good restaurant and we were not disappointed. Two of us are vegetarians and had really super small plates, whilst our son and grandson shared a very substantial pizza which they loved. The food was absolutely to die for delicious, the music and entertainment (live singer) were fantastic - including the stunning belly dancer who got us all up to dance! The staff were marvellous and tended to our every single need. Honestly one of the best...girly nights our we've had in a very long time (we 3 are all aged 40+) and we were up dancing away with other guests! We cannot wait to return. Fabulous all round👌More

We had a good night here on Saturday 8 April. Table of 6. The food is excellent and the service is good. Sadly we had to leave earlier than planned as the live music was just too loud. we visited last night for a me & my husband; excellent food & service but the new menu is not as good as the old one!! We haven’t been for a few months. The starters are brilliant to choose from & dessert but the mains...not as much choice as previous times, on menu ottoman chicken been removed my favourite, plus other dishes been removed also that i enjoyed. Been plenty of times lost count never a fault food or service but probably wont return as not many offerings as previous on menu, but is a beautiful place atmosphere & staff so friendly.More

I was staying locally and walked into Monton and while there was a number of restaurants that looked good La Turka looked to be the one to go to. I praise good service and will point out where it is not good ...La Turka is...the former. Engaging Staff who care about the place they work .well done, Grace and Caterina well done. The Tuesday night menu looked very good value but when at a Turkish Bistro you have to go for a Charcoal Grill and the Lamb Cutlets were simply amazing . I went here last night with my girlfriend, 17th September for dinner and was extremely disappointment. We had a drink each, a pizza each and shared a bowl of thick cut chips. In total it cost £49, which given the quality of food was massively...over priced. It was no better than frozen food I could have (and should’ve have) collected from Tesco. It was our third time to the restaurant and we won’t be going there again… I’d rather go to weatherspoons or just cook a frozen meal. I’m sure they do decent food but if you are craving pizza and/or real homemade chips, this place isn’t the one.More

The portion size of the Lord of the grill was very good and more than enough for 2 people. However, the quality was not up to the £44 price tag; the “Turkish bread” was cold and placed under all the meat with very little effort...to present the meal in an appetising way. The kebab meet was no better than a kebab shop and tasted very different to how it tasted when we visited a couple of years ago (I’m assuming the recipe has changed). Not all of the sauces advertised as part of the meal were brought out with the meal and we had to ask for them to be brought out. On a previous visit to La Turka (a Saturday night) fight broke out between customers on 2 separate tables. Also it’s worth noting La Turka automatically add on 10% service charge to your bill, which we paid because my wife didn’t want to make a fuss. Will we return based our last 2 visits, probably not.More

Callum the supervisor made our visit so special and lovely. He is amazing at his job and does anything to make your stay just the way you want it. I have never met a supervisor so keen to meet my needs and he deserves all...the recognition he can get.More
