Really good food and still ok pricing given it has 2 stars. Service could/should be more then what we got, but no complaints.

we ordered the surprise menu - which is a rather long menu already . we were given several amuse bouches to start with. it was fabulous! we were a group of 8 with various dietary limitations. the chef took it with a smile and cooked around the 2limitations" or replaced some parts for other dishes. we had asked to have... While holidaying back with family in Belgium, we wanted to experience fine dining. Ironically, the in-laws recommended another place near by, but when we got there, it was not at all what we were looking for so we left. We headed to L'eau Vive instead and we're so glad we did. It was mid-week and we managed to score a... More

We arrived there for a special occasion, with friends. Very warm welcome, and Champagne in a separate room. Very clean and impeccable dining room and table setup. Warm and friendly atmosphere. Seasonal menu, with possibility to ask for adapted dishes when selected menu découverte. Reasonable pricing (depending on wine choice/formula); certainly one of my best experiences ever. Hope to go... More

We did book for 2 for my wife's brirthday and so spent the week-end there. It was our first time in l'Eau vive and for sure it will not be our last. We could benefit from the Valentines day menu and we enjoyed it from A to Z. They could accommodate my neutropaenic diet and still made it a fantastice... More

We followed a recommendation of my Belgian Business Colleague - and, to say it in a nutshell: it was not a wrong decission! The restaurant is located in an old mill refurbished and presented in a well done mixture of combining old elements with modern style. A part of the restaurant is In a winter-garden with view on a waterfall... More

It is a nice restaurant with good choice of menus and wines. We had to wait a bit longer for the suckling pig wich was an obligatory part of every menu. The surrounding is also very nice and romantic nearby a small stream.

My husband and I have eaten here a few times and we've never been disappointed. The food is creative and surprising. Everything is paired wonderfully and the setting in the summer months really creates a beautiful ambiance. The chef often serves surprising dessert creations that are offered at the end of the evening and if you can manage to put... More

I love to travel and I love to eat. I'm eating when I'm traveling but also eating takes me to the different journeys. This time my journey was beautiful, full of hospitality, warm welcoming, great food, equilibrated flavors, never ending diversity of dishes... I've visited de L'Eau Vive by myself. First I was welcomed in the chimney room, with an... More

we were driving, and stopped by coincidence in this very nice restaurant, the first impression was nice, and we had a glass of champagne outside by the water. The menu did look a bit complicated, too modern for me, but we tried and it was interesting, good and nice. the wine list is very good, the quality of the products... More
