About
Bar & Restaurant Bora Bora (affectionately known as the Bar & Bistro by the Beach) is a wonderful neighbourhood restaurant with seating for up to 30 people and enjoys a spectacular setting. Surrounded by water sea on three sides, the restaurant has direct access to the beach, and has magnificent views of the hills of West Bali National Park and the volcanoes of East Java in the distance. We have some of the best sunsets in north Bali, there is no better place to enjoy your favourite aperitif. Bora Bora is an ideal venue for a romantic dinner, or a family gathering, or birthday or anniversary dinner. With additional seating in the gardens for a total of 45 persons we also cater for wedding celebrations and corporate events such as wine tastings and fashion shows.

Nice restaurant with great view next to the beach. They offer great breakfast, lunch and dinner. Their staff is also great. Very friendly and caring. Would highly recommend when you're staying at the Mayo Resort or when you're in the area.

Varied menu, local and European. The nasi goreng was really nice, and very good value.
House wine, by the carafe, better than experienced in most of Europe. Service exceptional.
Chocolate lava cake plus ice cream is a good choice for desert!!!

Very nice and cozy restaurant with lovely food and nice views. It feels a bit like Capetown the atmosphere. The service can be slow thats why 4 out of 5 points. The two times we where there we had to wait a long time on our order because there was only one bartender. But the drinks and the food was great! The have babychairs and games to play!

Nice location but food not good and too expensive. We had a thai curry and a tom ka kai which were not as it was supposed to be. The pasta was nice though... we had a total bill of 550k which was way too expensive for what we got.. so for location a 10 but for the restaurant a 5.

I visited last week. It is decent food when you take in to consideration the remote location and the fact there aren’t a ton of options in the general vicinity. However, in fairness to good food and tastebuds, it’s truly a three (average). The location is nice and establishment clean. Server was pleasant as well. We were a party of three people trying multiple items, and consensus was agreed on…average in taste and quality. So, it’s worth going, but just be aware it won’t wooo you. That being said, it is all definitely edible and served nicely.

Restaurant is part of Mayo Resort. Located right on the beach it was the perfect pkace to watch the sunset while having a nice cold beer.
Also had dinner here. I ordered the grilled mahi mahi. Its was well prepared and very tasty.
The staff was also very friendly and attentive. Well done.
Definitively will return here to enjoy a nice sunset beer and food.

Stopped here during a scooter ride last week for lunch. The setting is really nice, along the sea, the interior looks cosy and clean. The staff is really very very friendly.
Would certainly recommend!

Very good restaurant with stunning ocean view. Great for sunsets. Menu is partly traditional and very good Indonesian. Also western meals. Starting up now (april 22) after the pandemic. Contact before visit

Mayo Resort's Bora Bora restaurant offers a variety of delicious, healthy foods and drinks at very reasonable prices. The staff is out-of-this world with their ever smiling, immaculate service and respect.

The food at Bora Bora Restaurant was delicious no matter what we ordered!
Very good range of choices for non meat eaters also and to try every day something different. Gado Gado salad was amazing!
Staff really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Loved it!

The food is great and the scenery is even better. The restaurant is just steps away from the beach and has a beautiful view of the sunset!

Food was sourced fresh each day and cooked to perfection by the chef. Some of the best meals I have had in Bali. I highly recommend you visit this lovely resort and experience it for yourself.

I am booking special dinner and the restaurant prepared it very well. Love the peoples who serves there. The food was good but will be better if served faster. Will going there again and book some night at the resort. Thank you!!
