Without doubt the best pub grub we've had. Proper chips, real onion rings, and despite being a predominantly meat eater establishment, the best veggie burger for quite some time (portobello mushroom and Stilton). Friendly staff, local colour, and dog friendly.

Excellent food and great hospitality. Staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. I would recommend this pub to anyone just wanting a quiet drink, although the locals will soon get you chatting, or a nice meal, can't fault it.
