You will meet some interesting locals in this quaint old pub and the food is great. The crab cakes are freshly made and excellent. Good range of beers but wine choices limited. Highly recommended, went back twice.

Food was very good when it eventually turned up but we had to wait ages. Friendly staff but should have told us it would be over an hours wait. So my advice would be check how long the wait is before ordering.

Looked a bit rough at the edges from outside but what a great spot. Just fantastic views through the front windows out over the bay. Very friendly barmaid, the crab soup is just sublime and the beer was excellent-only one bitter but very nicely kept....More

Sorry about the late reply, I expect it is dog friendly as I think just about every venue in Newlyn is.
