We enjoyed a lovely meal at this friendly pub which is on a bus route and only a minute's walk from the centre of Newlyn. We especially enjoyed the crab soup and the 'catch of the day' which was fresh and well cooked. There is...More

Walked to Newlyn & called into pub for late lunch, we both had the Guinness Pie which was excellent, very tasty with plenty of tender steak & all piping hot.

This pub has amazing scenic views of the fishing harbour and Mount's Bay beyond. It has a friendly, welcoming atmosphere and as ever the local Cornish people chatted to us like we were old friends. The food is delicious and there is quite a large...More

Atmospheric small pub serving very good food. Fish pie, Guinness pie, fish cakes , Quorn Spag Bol all excellent and well presented. Very friendly, attentive and engaging bar staff. Great local ale.

Walked along from Penzance and was tempted in by the menu on the chalkboard. What a great decision that was. Friendly welcome and the tastiest crab soup ever. Just what we needed after walking against strong winds.

Great crab soup with garlic bread facing the historical harbour of the ten with panoramic views across the bay to Penzance and St. Michael’s. Deaf barman so pronounce words well.

Sorry about the late reply, I expect it is dog friendly as I think just about every venue in Newlyn is.
