At next visit to Iceland we will absolutly visit the place again. The lobster soup was excellent and the Volcano desert (choclet fondant) was a real competiter in excelence with the lobster.

At a white tablecloth restaurant the expectations are high---and we were not disappointed. Good Icelandic selections served with pleasant, attractive, fresh taste, atmosphere. Loved it!

I had looked forward to having the Lobster Creme Pasta dish I had a year ago but they must done some changes in the kitchen since the last time because the food was just terrible, covered in what must have been thyme and blocking all change of getting the taste of lobster.

We had dinner here to celebrate our first evening in Iceland. The managers seemed confused by our reservation even though they had confirmed it by email. After setting up a table for us we ordered two of their lobster specials. The lobster pasta was especially good in a cream tomato sauce. The raised tails prepared in butter & bread crumbs... More

Understand from a waiter that there's a new cook. Hope the new cook acts well on feedback that the food is way too salty or the restaurant might just lose its certificate of excellence (fm Tripadvisor!). Lobster soup, pasta, and fish - all salty. Didn't think it was a value for $ dinner - food was too salty to be... More

I had a 'trio' of fish which consisted of 2 pieces of cod and a small lobster tail. My partner had the lamb which was quite fatty.... More

We had a nice lunch with a big group of 20 people - conveniently seated upstairs in a pre ordered meal. Food was great, delicious local lamb chops cooked to perfection, amazing hot chocolate fountain with ice cream are to be recommended . I believe the cod was a good option for those favoring a light meal. Shame that we... More

Busy and slow (not in a bad way) service but good food. Very attentive. Good ambience. I wish it was a bit more local but then I'm a tourist...
