We ate a little later and had the restaurant to ourselves. Nervous at first as there was a tour bus out front, but they must have had a private room in the back, so we enjoyed a quiet dinner. Yummy fresh seafood and dessert!

We stopped for lunch and had the lobster soup. The staff were very friendly and nice and the soup was delicious. It was however quite expensive. But most things in Iceland are very expensive, so this was no different. I would recommend this place.

Good food and good service. You have to order the lamb chops. Crunchy outside and juicy inside. They also have kids menu. Reasonable price.

This restaurant, set in an historic red building (hence the name), offers a good family option for lunch. The kids had several pastas to choose from. The lamb was delicious but the lobster bisque could not match that at Fjorubordid, which is just down the...More
