We stopped in here for a cup of soup and lunch as we were making our way from Reykavik. Food was great. Atmosphere is nice. It was a very chilly day and this was a wonderfully warm spot to stop and recharge our batteries.

Go for the ‘lobster,’ but everything (soup, fish dessert) is perfect. The service is first rate, the setting is classic.

I have stayed in Iceland nine nights and had five lobster bisques. The best one goes to Rauda Husid. It had intense flavour and it wasn’t overpowered by cream which I liked a lot. We had very attentive service. Would definitely return if I could...More

We ate a little later and had the restaurant to ourselves. Nervous at first as there was a tour bus out front, but they must have had a private room in the back, so we enjoyed a quiet dinner. Yummy fresh seafood and dessert!
