Have enjoyed lunch here three or four times, however today we were disappointed with the food we had. Goats cheese and caramelised onion tart was very mediocre and the lamb in the curry was tough. Sorry won’t be returning.

I stayed with my partner and two children (10 and 8) while in the area for a family party. The owner couldn't have been more helpful and the room and breakfast were both wonderful. Thanks for all your help and hospitality!

Lovely meal on two occasions, greeted by very friendly bar staff and made to feel welcome. I would definitely recommend visiting if you are camping locally or passing through. So nice to visit a great pub.

A former coaching inn with a history dating back to the 18th century, Hunter's Moon offers classic British fare, real ales, local ciders and warm, public-house hospitality. Filled with quaint trinkets and strewn with pretty hanging baskets outdoors, this homely setting offers an array of wholesome seasonal dishes, and has been named in The Good Beer Guide since 2007.
