We picked this restaurant at random through google maps, walked in, and ended up with a memorable experience and excellent lunch.
We discovered this was a speciality restaurant, famous for the most amazing oven-roasted goose you will ever try.
Slovaks come hear with their families,...many larger groups to share a goose together. We were lucky to get a table as the rest of the restaurant was fully reserved, reservations recommended.
We received a massive menu, only to discover 1/2 page dedicated to the available food: goose liver, goose soup, oven-roasted goose with potato, roasted duck (you need to request 24 hrs in advance, sour plate, red cabbage.... The rest of the menu is dedicated to wines and drinks.
For 2 people, we were able to order 1/2 a goose, with the potato lakkas and red cabbage, and we tried the duck liver.
Honestly, it was the best goose I have ever had. Great surprise and a place I will return too when we have friends visiting us in BratislavaMore
