Everything here is always of a very high standard. The cooked food is delicious and the tray bakes and meringues are to die for. The coffee is the best for many miles The service is of a very high quality and the friendly staff make everybody welcome. If you have to wait at a busy time, it is always worth... More

We called in here and found a bustling café/restaurant with a good choice of food with table service, free parking and a deli/gift shop. The drinks ordered with the meal only appeared after the wait staff were informed of the non arrival.

If you need a break while heading up, or down, the A90 between Dundee and Aberdeen, this is a good place to stop. Drinks are reasonably priced and the scones were very tasty with a lovely crispness to the outside. The tray bakes and other temptations looked delicious - perhaps next time as we didn't have much time to spare... More

Food really good, for a farm cafe the food is better than a lot of restaurants. Really recommend peppered steak baguettes and burgers. Cakes are good although they could be a bit smaller. Atmosphere is not relaxing very noisy and as there are a lot of windows so it is often too hot and blindingly bright however we go as... More

We came here for my mum's bday at the end of January, and there were five adults and four children in our party. There is a wide choice of food and it is all nicely prepared. There are lots of waitresses. It is an extremely popular place to come for either lunch, tea/coffee and cake, or an evening meal. There... More

Worth a trip just for the cooked breakfast, but be there before 11:30am ( I think)... Good Stornoway black pudding, lots of tasty bacon, sausages, haggis, beans, 2 eggs, toast and tomato......washed down with a good cup of tea Great friendly service, and I will be returning for sure.

Excellent soup, haddock and LARGE meringue! Very busy restaurant so a little on the noisy side, but the service was amazingly quick. The staff must be getting sprinting training! All good stuff! Well stuffed!
